The Devil Wears Prada

I brought this with me on vacation and just couldn't read it. It was so different from the movie in the beginning. I just couldn't get the movie out of my head and kept thinking to myself, 'that didn't happen', 'that character was different', 'they changed that' -- I couldn't get passed it. I do, usually, prefer to read a book before seeing the movie and often prefer the book over the movie. Unfortunately, this one suffered because I saw the movie first. I had plenty of other books to read so I just put it down. Actually, I gave it to my MIL and she enjoyed it. I left it (and my other books) in our rental house for someone else to enjoy.
