I liked this, though it was pretty different for her. A murder mystery, suspense, lots of clues & red herrings. Along with her usual woman-on-the-brink theme. And I liked the fact that we don't know how it ended--what she'll decide. At first I thought she'd go with the old flame, maybe work with him as a detective. Then I thought it would be the old standby--realize she really does love her husband.

Who else read this? How did you like it?

This was the first of her novels I read and I liked it very much! I have recommended it to many people. The other one I liked was Little Earthquakes.

I've loved all of hers. That's true. I'd forgotten Little Earthquakes. That's more like this one. I was thinking of her others that involve single women.

I've loved them all. And I think there might be one or 2 I haven't read yet.
