I have to admit, I thought I guessed whodunit at the very beginning, but I was way off. That said, this was another good Bailey Weggins page-turner. In Over Her Dead Body, Bailey has just been sacked from her great freelance gig with Gloss magazine. To earn some money, she takes a job covering celebrity crimes for Buzz magazine, a celebrity gossip magazine. The magazine's editor, Mona Hodges, is known for being able to hugely increase newsstand sales. She is also a vicious tyrant.
Soon after Bailey begins working at Buzz, the friend who helped land her the job is fired. That night, Bailey discovers Mona in her office with her head bashed in. Bailey is assigned to cover Mona's murder for the magazine, and she also does some of her trademark snooping. The problem is, the list of people who had motive to kill Mona is a mile long. There's danger, intrigue, and a new love interest for Bailey.
