I remember when this book came out and I read about it in a magazine. I remember wanting to read it, and I am sure I wrote it down on one of my many sticky notes of books I want! I am glad you reminded me about it, I tihnk I will check it out soon.

I think I talked about it on the board before but I have not read it yet. I had to think for a moment and make sure after reading your post though, lol!

That does sound good! And "Film rights optioned by Julia Roberts" is intriguing, too.

Just finished reading this on your recommendation. I loved it! I liked the brief glimpses we got into Adam's mind. And that boy Morgan was a character, wasn't he?! LOL. I found it a little unsettling--maybe difficult to believe--that some of the boys from that Group for Kids Who Don't Have Any Friends, were running around unattended, without a psychiatrist or outside counselor. And the way Cara and the counselors & teachers treated Morgan like he was an ordinary person, even like an adult. Yikes! They trusted him with so much info.

The whole background of Cara's past friendships got a little complicated for me. I wasn't sure I understood why she couldn't maintain a friendship. Do you think she & Suzette were going to pick up their friendship after the book ended?

I was hoping Suzette and Cara would become good friends again.
