I use to devour biographies and haven't found any good ones lately. I was hoping that you might have read something interesting lately. I'm not really interested in celebrities - political (party affiliation doesn't matter), historic, newsworthy would be more my 'cup of tea.'
I'm crossing my fingers that there are some good ones out there!
Thanks,

I don't read a lot of biographies but I'll put in my .02. A couple of these might fictionalized accounts but I've included them" The Soloist by Steve Lopez, The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman, The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff, Tears of the Desert by Halima Bashir, Escape by Carolyn Jessop, Hurry Down Sunshine

I just saw this one in the new book section and it looks good. Wild flower by Mark Seal.

I read a biography of Sandra Day O'Connor by Joan Biskupic a few years ago and it was fabulous. Besides being her biography there is a lot in there about how the Supreme Court works as well as how she became such an influential member.
Colin Powell's autobiography is also very good.

I was at the bookstore the other day and picked up Loose Girl: A Memoir of Promiscuity by Kerry Cohen.

Good idea! If a glass of wine is involved, life is good. :)
Thanks!
