Okay, I could use some ideas, ladies!! Are you giving any books to grown-ups this year? And good recommendations if you don't really know what they like to read?

I found out recently that a lot of money doesn't get spent with gift cards!! So, I'd rather give them a book (even if they have to return it.)

Thanks!

1. The Book Of Negroes (Someone Knows My Name USA editon) by Lawrence Hill

2. The Day The Falls Stood Still by Cathy Marie Buchanan

3. Hotel On The Corner Of Bitter And Sweet by Jamie Ford

4. The Weight Of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf

5. The Help by Kathryn Stockett

6. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

7. Mudbound by Hilary Jordan

8. Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay

9. Dragon House by John Shors

10. Still Alice by Lisa Genoa

I'm not a big fan of short stories but I did really like Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout.

Hotel on the corner of bitter and sweet was really good.

I personally love getting books for gifts. I'd rather have them buy me a book than buy me a gift card to buy a book if that makes sense.
