When Aly was younger, I'd pull out 25-30 Christmas stories and read one each night before Christmas starting Thanksgiving night.

Some of our favorites include (& I'm sure I'll add later):
The Christmas Story
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The Night Before Christmas
The Cajun Night Before Christmas (I read this to my students, too, because I'm more Cajun than they are)
Donald's Christmas Tree (which is the same as the cartoon with Mickey, except it's Donald's tree in the book)
Mickey's Christmas Carol

Mine, too. I received it as a gift when I was like 5, but it's long gone now. A student gave me a $10 Wal-mart gift card a couple years ago and I bought it for myself.

I also just bought a book called "12 Days of Christmas in Louisiana" and I LOVE it!!!! I usually read The Cajun Night Before Christmas to my students every year because I'm more Cajun than they are, but this year, I will be reading this book--so much of it goes with my Life Science curriculum--it's so cool. This book was in our teacher's lounge, and it was definitely the best seller...I think they sold 15 copies of it!

I like both of those, too. I have a silver jingle bell on my tree for Polar Express.
