He started out with Harry Potter but doesn't even want to see the last couple of movies. He's so over HP these days. LOL But, he's reading Warrior (Cats), anything sort of Dungeons & Dragons related - He's even read The Hobbit and has started the LOTR trilogy (I'm not sure they've kept his interest, maybe a little hard for him to read yet.)

When DS (now 17) was that about that age, he liked things with codes to decipher, mysteries to figure out, etc.

He says he doesn't like mysteries but I don't know that he's read any (Or maybe he has and he just doesn't realize what I'm talking about.) But, I really liked The DaVinci Code & Angels & Demons. I don't know if they'd be too graphic for him though... I'll ask DH what he thinks. Thanks for that recommendation! He's read the Adept series by Piers Anthony. I think he started a Xanth book but I don't think he liked that as much - I liked them! (So, he doesn't always take my advice on books. LOL)

Thanks, Kathie!! He loved Percy Jackson and I had been eyeing those 30 Clues books. I will check these out :)
