This may have been done already, but I have seen on other boards that there is a person of the week or day (whatever the case may be). We could even pick a child...

I like the idea of getting to know everyone better and it might encourage more posting? Who knows?

That sounds like fun Carol, I've seen that type of thing work really well on other boards. Do you want to organize it?

I will surely try. I am going to wait and see what kind of response the first message gets. I know I would like it. My idea is that the lurkers or occasional posters would become more a part of this board.

Sounds like a great idea! Count me in...I've seen it too & it's fun..now I'm not exactly volunteering to be the first on the chopping block...LOL..but I'd love to be a part of it.

Great Idea! I had planned on starting a "member of the week" probably about a year ago but never go it started (shame on me).

If you would be interested in heading that up that would be GREAT!
