I'm desperate to get my baby to take a bottle again. She was taking a bottle just fine but then I got lazy and stopped giving her one once in a while. I think it was about three maybe four weeks that I didn't give her one and now she refuses it. has anyone tried that bottle that looks like a boob? What was your experience?

My dd has taken it well. But she takes any bottle. I never tried it with ds when he refused the bottle. He refused them from about 4 months on. He would go hours without milk and then cluster feed when I would get home.

Im not sure which bottle you are talking about unless it is the Playtex nurser. That is what I use with DD. DS didnt care for them much, but he didn't bf passed 1 month. If it isnt the Playtex that you are talking about I have no clue.

OK, sorry, I have never heard of it. Thank you for sharing though, I think I may go check it out. Please let me know if it works for you.

She is old enough to go right to the cup....my dd stopped taking the bottle at 5-6m old. I work f/t so she still had to eat being she only had bm in her diet. we had great luck with the playtex soft spout sippy. Tori still likes these a lot even now. She "weaned" herself from the bottle. She never liked them, so the sippy cup was good for her. Best of luck.

My DS won't take the bottle either and will only take it if he HAS to at daycare. I've tried A LOT of bottles, including the one that looks like a boob that I think you are referring to...it doesn't work! He now takes the Playtex disposable nurser with the orthodontic nipple...again, only at daycare from 1-2 of the teachers. Good luck, I know it's frustrating when your baby doesn't take the bottle. I've been trying to get him to take a cup for over a month now and am not having much luck with that either, since the cups also requires sucking and he only wants to chew on it!

You might want to check out the Disposible Sippy cups by First Years. They have them at walmart for less than $3 for a few of them. You don't have to really suck much. My ds won't take a bottle and these have been a life saver for me. I have not given him bm in it though.

Good Luck,
