What an interesting weekend! I think shopping for rings sounds like fun! I'm really curious about the Bodie trip. Why do you need the picture of the headstone?

I'll take the hug, and keep the Panic Board in mind - you're right - sounds like the place for me this week!

The cruising thing sounds like a lot of fun. Of course, all you have to do is think the word "cruise" around me, and I start breathing hard. LOL

Hmmm, I have no idea where Williamsport is. Geography was never my best thing.... You'd think in a state this small, I'd know every inch of it, wouldn't you?

No, I'm not at all sorry I asked! ;-)

Wow, what a week you've got ahead of you! I'm sorry all the neighbors are mad about your tree limb knocking out their power, although I don't know how in the world they could reasonably hold you responsible. You have to admit it is a little ironic, although not a comfortable situation to be in. A lot of people in Memphis has that same problem a couple months ago when that big wind storm hit and knocked out power to 3/4 of the city and outlying areas. Most people were out of power while neighbors right across the street had it. It took about 3-4 weeks before everyone was finally restored. Hopefully it won't take your neighbors nearly that long. But for the record, it's not your fault; it was just a fluke!

I've been wondering about the financial situation and how it was going for you. I assumed the problem had not disappeared although you hadn't mentioned it lately. I know how difficult it must be for you though. I'll keep praying for you guys, ok? And I'll say a special prayer for you on Tuesday morning.

Give Jolie a big hug for me and tell her that she is going to have a blast at her sleepover. If she's anything like her Mom, how could anyone possibly not have fun? With a few snacks, games, music videos, and some private time for a lot of girl talk, they won't want to go home the next morning! ;-)

And for you ... don't you even think that no one would show up for your birthday dinner! And you are going to look marvelous, not matter what you wear. Karen, you are always so exuberant; I have a feeling that people just gravitate to you! You will be fine, and everyone is going to have a great time. But just for an extra measure of security, I'll keep you in mind and say a little prayer for you on Friday. ;-)

Hope you have a great weekend. Relax and get ready for your big week coming up!

Hey, Debbie! My husband and I used to go to Cruizin' the Coast all the time since we used to live only about an hour away. We don't have an antique car; we just went to look.

Hope you all have a great time cruizin' Highway 90 along the coast. If you're looking for a great place to eat while you're there, check out Chappy's on Highway 90 in either Gulfport or Long Beach, I don't remember which. All the towns kind of run together along 90.

My geography is terrible, too. Without a road map, I'd not know which end was up! LOL

That post made me feel so good I read it three more times before I started on my response. Thank you, Cindy. Just knowing that you'll be praying for me this week made me feel a little less stressed. I'll let you know how things go.

I have a day off and after my all-too-brief visit with all of you here, I am off to do some shopping (shower curtain for the new place is at the top of my list, followed by some dressier work clothes and a black belt). Nothing else planned!! Aaaaah, having no obligations feels wonderful!

Have a beautiful day, buddies!!

Hugs, Roni :)

Take a deep breath, and KNOW that you are taken care of in the most encompassing sense, and that YOU do not need to carry all of this worry needlessly. Remeber the vision you gave ME when I was feeling overwhelmed? You are fighting God for the job!

Like always, everything will work out the way it's supposed to, but until then, I will keep you in my prayers,

Love,

Roni :)

Thanks for the reminder, Roni! You're right. I have been in a tug of war with God - how dumb is that?

(Boy, am I glad your library has a computer.)
