I started a new job today! And I think I'm going to like it. It's at a new farm market down the road, 1½ miles from us--close enough to walk to when Roger's working. They not only sell fruits and veggies and such, but they have a floral shop, and ice cream stand, a pottery room, and country-type gifts, etc. I even enjoyed dusting today! I got to move all the little "angel" figures to dust under them. They have balloons and stuffed animals too. It's just the sort of place I've always dreamed of working in. It's only part-time, but with the work we're doing on our house, my time will be at a premium, at least for a while.

Yes, Roni, we're doing some "fixing up" around the house, in anticipation of putting it up for sale next spring/summer. Recent developments at Kodak have given us high hopes that Roger WILL make it to 30 years, so when they present him his retirement package, we'll be ready to "hit the trail," so to speak.

Right now we are in the middle of papering-bordering the den (neat lighthouses!). We will do the bathroom next, and I hope to just "dress up" the rest of the house to make it more appealing to prospective buyers.

Thanks for the good wishes. (We'll be so happy to have you back on your puter! It's been hard having you at the mercy of the library's availability.)

Elaine do you know how to do the...........Well I don't know what they call it but you take a feather duster and dip it in paint and dab it at the walls it gives it a beautiful look.Kinda like a wallpaper look.My SIL did it to her livingroom and it looks so nice.

That's the type of stuff I do within my painting job. It's just a textured finish, and DOES look very nice! Easy, too!!

You wipe it off really well between applications so it's always dry (and don't get it too wet in the first place), and rinse it completely if it gets goopy...or have 3 or 4 on hand to finish a job (they're cheap at dollar stores!).
