Today is a new start for me!  I finally caved under the pressure of all the birthdays around this place.  Between Jolie, Kelsy, and me, this house has been full of carby goodies for 4 weeks!  I managed to be strong (relatively) for a long time, but this past weekend, I BROKE.  I'm not proud of it, but at least it's over.  I'm back in the saddle again!

Good Morning All. Also good luck to all that are starting a new day with no carbs. Question??? Yesterday on Dr. Phil they had a nutritionist who said that carbs are not the enemy

Is it all gone now?? If not, do you plan to get rid of it some other way???GOL That's ok, Hoser...it's the perfect Tuesday for a brand-new, rejuvenated start (you SHOULD have enough energy, at least until the sugar crash!).

Carbs definitely are NOT the enemy, not the right ones, anyway. Fruit, veggies & whole grains are vital to weight loss because they are so high in fiber and filling and NUTRITIOUS. The carbs that are 'bad' are the refined sugars, flours, white pasta, white rice, white bread etc. They are processed and contain so little fiber and rarely any nutrients. THOSE are the ones to avoid as much as possible (but eat all the GOOD carbs you want!!).

Good Morning! I'm in Iowa on my mother's computer, so I won't answer any other posts. This dial-up thing is the pits! LOL I know you can do it Karen! From now until Thanksgiving, you can get a lot of work done on your body! I passed up chocolate cake last night and homemade cinnamon rolls this morning for breakfast! My mother and sisters are making fun of my, but I'm not going to lose ground! You stay strong so I can stay strong, okay???? Hello to all my buddies! See you on the weekend! Hugs......Pam
