Heavens, it's November!!!  I talked to my mom on the phone yesterday, and she was telling me how tired she is from all the Christmas shopping she's been doing.  Carumba!  Christmas shopping?  Why couldn't I have inherited whatever gene it is that makes her get all her Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving?

Have a great weekend, Buddies!  (And, if you're going Christmas shopping....break it to me gently, okay?)

:o) - Karen

Good Morning, Petunia!

Happy November! I have my shopping about 1/3 finished, but I'm not planning on doing any this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend!

ROFL Although it LOOKS like Christmas around here, chances are that no Christmas shopping will be getting done at this end! Christmas BAKING, maybe! Soccer practice, picking up my last showhome cheque , and checking on the new house are my only plans. Oh yeah, and family portraits this evening, if Wayne gets home from work.

Have a wonderful Saturday, Buddies

Well, Karen, the laugh was on me! I drove all the way in to the store I need to go to and IT'S CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!! (Obviously I don't get there often--lol!) So I visited my mother for a while, then hit a couple other stores nearby. So I'm grabbing some lunch now and then I'm on my way AGAIN to the stamp store, and subsequent shopping after I choose a stamp for my Christmas cards. Don't know how much actual shopping I'll get done--the mall just opened a huge new addition, so it may be too crowded and crazy to accomplish much, but we'll see.

~~E~~

PS--When I got home yesterday, there were three boxes of Christmas stuff waiting to be opened--gifts that I had ordered earlier, so I'm about half done! tee hee

Oh, fine - you're halfway through your Christmas shopping, and I haven't even finished decorating for Halloween yet!
