Hernia

Hi everyone, just when my exercise programme was going so well, I've been diagnosed with hernia by my osteopath, but I will be getting a confirmation from my doctor later this week. Not bad enough that I need surgery, but I can't even continue with my adbominal workouts which were giving me so much energy. I'm really upset because every time I get on track, something pushes me off. Sorry to vent, but sometimes I feel that I was born to stay large and jolly and "maternal"! The upshot of this is also that my IVF cycle in February may be postponed again, till after I turn 40. I feel really sad today, but I know I would have got a handle on it by tomorrow. I'm going to pray today and think about God's will for my life and try to remain positive. Your good thoughts will really help me! Much love to all,

Shan

Hi Shan,

I am sorry about your hernia! That can't be much fun. I am so sorry too that it may cancel your cycle. That would be a huge bummer!

I agree with you, I think fat and happy sounds pretty good right now. I've got the fat down pat, LOL!....

Hugs,

-Dawn

Hi, Shan. I'm sorry things are not going your way today. The hernia sounds painful. I'm glad to hear it won't require surgery though. I know what you mean about something always getting in the way as soon as you get a good routine started. It does seem that way, doesn't it?

Hang in there. I hope tomorrow will look brighter for you.

Hugs!

((((Shan)))) I'm sorry that you're having such a crummy time, but I do agree that God has a plan, and that we have to trust that He knows better than we do what we need.

I'll keep you in my prayers, too, and hope that you DO see the positive and keep that energized attitude despite the circumstances.

Hugs,

Roni :)
