WW online?

Has anyone done this? I did WW once a few years ago, and lost about 10 lbs, but I was STARVING the whole time!!

But, it was a good way to keep track of what was good and bad to eat.

Anyway, there aren't a lot of convenient meetings around here, so I thought I would try it online. Anyone had any experience with this?

I've never tried the online WW, but I did belong to WW after my first daughter was born and got all the way down to goal.

I just signed up today. The Points tracker is a great resource, that's for sure. I feel so high tech just punching it in to the computer (if they make one that is downloadable to your PDA, they'll make a mint!)

I am already maxxed out on points today. I'll have to go to the gym and earn some back with exercise, and then eat some salad and veggies for dinner.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Grrrr...the more I look at WW online with all their yummy recipes and point values for various foods--the hungrier I get!

Well, I like this online WW thing so far. I mean, I'm STARVING, but hopefully that will pass as my stomach shrinks to normal size instead of being so stretched out.

Part of the reason I think it motivates me is because I'm paying good money for it, which makes me not want to waste the resources. Is that sad or what? Oh well, whatever motivates, I guess.

Anyway, I am still trying to get the hang of it, but I think it breaks down to: high fiber, low fat. I can any fruit or vegetable I want. I can eat lots of beans. Stick to these items and I'll never go hungry.

OK. Back to obsessing about food.

Well, this is getting easier and easier. Today, I didn't even use up all my points! And I feel pretty good. I was hungry right before lunch, and a little around 3:30, but I had managed my food intake enough that I could have a good lunch and still have a cup of cottage cheese as a snack at 3:30. I had a very light dinner, but that is ok, as I am finding that eating my points earlier in the day makes me feel a lot more energetic.

My first weigh in is on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes!

Ok. I'm almost at the end of week 1. I blew almost all of my flexi-points last night at the Cheesecake Factory (and let me tell you, it was totally WORTH it). However, I am still on track for the week.

Here's what I have found helps stave off the little pangs of hunger:

drink a cup of hot tea if I get hungry an hour before lunch.

have a low point or no point snack if it is 2-3 hours before a meal: carrots, low fat popcorn, pickles, orange juice.

I worked out for a WHOLE HOUR this morning at the gym!

Yay yay yay!
