GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!!!

New Year's Eve!  What are your plans, Buddies?  We'll be doing our traditional - stay at home, collect lots of noise makers from around the house, hang extra Christmas lights all around the living room, wear funny hats and all the sparkley jewelry we can dig up (except for Dan - no jewelry, but a very nice hat!), eat, watch TV, make lots of noise when midnight comes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

:o) - Karen

You all are so much fun! Can I come over??

This was my day to sleep late, but that didn't happen because John is home today too and he SNORES!!! Poot!! SO, his punishment is that he has to go shopping with me for half-price Christmas ornaments and Clothtique Santas!

Happy New Year!!

My family and I will go over to our friend's home and celebrate with them and others that they have invited. They have children about the same age so everyone has a good time. Looking forward to beginning my new life and feeling healthier and happier than ever. Hope you all have a wonderful evening.

Hello everybody, I'm back in London. Having weathered strep throat, high calorie temptations and not being able to exercise, I am happy to announce that I lost half a pound in the last two weeks!

Now we have the other set of relatives -- my partner's family -- in Belgium to visit, but I am back home on the 4th of January and have made a contract to myself to lose 30 lbs by my 40th birthday (17th April) before I start my next IVF cycle. I will need you folks now more than ever, and I am so glad you are here!

If I don't get to post tomorrow, have a wonderful New Year's Day. We will all reach our goals this year if we stick together and rely on one another for support.

For reading in 2004, may I recommend a book I just finished that I believe could turn everyone's life around? I read the whole book on the way to Chicago on the flight, and cried and laughed all the way. I am not one for self-help books and usually have sarcastic things to say about pop psychology, but this book is searing in its honesty and really shakes you to the centre of your soul. It's called The Impossible Just Takes a Little Longer, and is by Art Berg. You can get used copies for as little as $2.85 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060199903/qid=1072894168//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i0_xgl14/002-1797107-6749655?v=glance&s=books&n=507846.

Talk to you lovely people soon!

Love,

Shan

I'll check out that book! I always like to hear about what other people are reading and what they think about it.

Glad to have you back, Shan!
