GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!!! :o)

Well, I might be feeling a little better this morning.  Morning is a tough time to judge, you know?  We're supposed to go celebrate Christmas with Dan's family today.  I have to wait until everybody else is up to decide whether we're well enough to go or not.  Yesterday, the coughing got so loud around here that it was comical.  This is a small house, and when all four of us start coughing at once - it's a riot.  I'm surprised the neighbors didn't call 911!

What fun things do you all have planned for this weekend?

:o) - Karen

Glad you're feeling a little better this morning! Hope the others will be feeling well enough to go to Dan's parents for Christmas. It would be a shame to have to miss out!

John and I WERE planning on going Santa-hunting again today, but our checkbook is feeling pretty weak right now, so we decided we better not go. Instead, we'll spend the day sitting on the sofa watching movies in front of the fire! Whoohoo! My favorite thing to do! :)

Good morning Karen!

I hope you and your family are feeling much better today!

I have no idea what we are doing today. I know we need to go to the store and get some healthy food. I think just about all of our junk food is gone now.

I hope you have a great day!

Hugs,

-Dawn

It's a FROZEN Saturday afternoon here...approx. -20F with windchill. Streets are solid ice after all of the snow. Wayne drove me this morning to drop off my letter of resignation at the pool , to the bank, and to get some groceries. I can't BELIEVE how cold it's gotten in the

Letter of resignation? From teaching swimming lessons? Or no life-guard recertification?

Sorry! :(

Considering it's 70F degrees here today, we had to shut the fireplace down! :( I'm still in sweats though!

No more working at the pool. Had to resign because I can't keep my wonderful boss on hold indefinitely while I try to get my back healthy. She was awesome (I was crying the whole time I was talking to her), and says as soon as I am strong and recertified that she'll hire me right back. So it's depressing, but not permanent (hopefully).

So now, at least, my only concern is rehab-ing. I know it's the best thing.
