Is it a good morning where you are?...

I c-c-can't thaw out my brain enough to figure out if it is here or not (it's been below -40 for 3 days and expected to continue through the weekend). Haven't tried starting the car yet, either, which may determine the tone for the day. Yikes. Any of my southern buddies feel like putting up a very well-behaved family of 4 until spring??? Just wondering...

Have yourselves a beautiful day, buddies, no matter WHAT Mother Nature has in store!!

We had enough snow overnight and into this AM (still snowing) to make a commute messy, but no cancellations to speak of. I have a very flexible boss so I don't make any valiant efforts to get myself anywhere. Safety and warmth come first.

Have a great day everyone,

Just a warning though, it is cold and raining here, and the mountains are getting snow.

Come on down, Roni, it was 30 degree ABOVE zero here this morning!

I guess it's a good morning; I fell well-rested, work isn't annoying me too much today, and the sun is finally out again. :)

I can't even imagine that! Your furnace must run non-stop!

You're welcome to come stay with me for the winter. ;-)

Is Bruce gone again, Dawn?

Wouldn't it be great if we all lived in the same neighborhood??

It's a dodgy type of day today -- they PROMISED us snow and temperatures WAY below zero -- and I'm sitting here feeling really ripped off because ...NOTHING'S HAPPENING. There were a few white flecks around one of our apple trees this morning, but they melted while we were looking. Ridiculous. I want my money back! Mind you, the blizzards have hit the North Yorkshire moors, and there have already been some accidents, so I'm not really complaining...

Keep warm, buddies! Hot soup is the way to go!

Nope, he is home.

That would be so cool! We would have all our friends by us. We could have our chats at a park, face to face! :)

The sad thing is that I (and probably most of you, too) have neighbors close by that are probably just as cool as we all are, but I just don't get out to meet them!
