GOOD TGIFRIDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!!! :o)
| Fri, 02-13-2004 - 8:02am |
It's Valentine's Day Eve! Anybuddy have any special plans for the weekend? We have sort of unusual ones this year. Since Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday, we're thinking of going on a date with Kelsy and Jolie - movie and dinner or something like that. I figure this is the last year Kelsy will be willing to be seen in public with her parents on Valentine's Day. LOL
Have a lovely day, Buddies!

We live ten minutes away from the Kew Royal Horticultural Gardens and tomorrow, they open a rare orchid exhibition, so we're going to go look at orchids. I bought a huge bunch of tiger shrimp, mussels and fish and I am in a dreadful dilemma over what to make for Valentine's Day dinner -- a nice big Thai seafood curry (about 16 Weight Watcher's points, with all that coconut and white jasmine rice) or a bouillabaisse-type of Mediterranean fish stew (with far fewer calories but not as much fun!)
I know I OUGHT to choose the lower fat option, but it sure is a hard decision! ;-)Thinking about all of you and sending you all lots of love for Valentine's Day. *Mwah*

TGIF! I'm finding it difficult to type as I had a splinter in one of my fingers this AM -got it out, but I put one of those fingertip bandaids on it. Very odd feeling.
Anyway, I replaced DH's wedding band and just made him a neat little gifty item to hide the ring in. It looks pretty good. I don't know if I can wait until tomorrow to give it to him.
DH does landscaping/gardening so he is pretty much off for the season. He was going to go shopping today so I am counting on him cooking us a nice meal...usually involves seafood.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

The orchid exhibit sounds like it will be beautiful!

Okay, I'm about to burst with curiosity about what you've hidden the ring in. LOL

My friend found a plastic container with hearts on it - it is is like a Chinese food container - you know the ones they put the rice in. So it is this sort of see through plasticy material with red hearts on it. Then I bought lots of different heart chocolate candies - put the ring in the midst of all the chocolates.
Now I just have to stay away from all his chocolates.....
Have a great day!

LOL - Thanks, Niki!

Nothing out of the ordinary for Wayne and me. We're not big V-day people (no gifts or anything; we've kind of always been on the same page in that we appreciate
