GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!!!
| Wed, 05-05-2004 - 7:48am |
I woke up thinking about Cindy and Dawn this morning. Cindy - how is your sister now? Dawn - any improvement in the fire situation? You are both still in my prayers. (((HUGS)))
My day is going to be full of the usual - cleaning, paperwork, taxi service....might even cook something semi-Mexican in honor of Cinqo de Mayo. Wazzup with y'all?
Have a wonderful day, Buddies!

Well, I am back full gear into work - things are busier than they usually are - which is sometimes good - sometimes bad.
South Beach is going well - here on day 3 - I fought through several M&M urges yesterday. I got to go to aerobics after missing for 2 weeks. I felt that, but it was good. I'm glad to be back in my normal routine.
Our dog, Digger, is finally back to her old self after spending a long week-end in the kennel. This was the first time since she was a puppy - 3 years ago, that we put her in a kennel. I don't think she liked it too much and she was really not happy with us.
So...vacations are nice, but it is good to be home!
Have a great day,
Niki
No more news yet.
Congrats on fighting those M&M cravings and on really

Dan has sleep apnea too, but not the obstructive type.

Your sister and family will be in my prayers. OK, I just stopped and said one now.
You will be in my thoughts.
HUGS!

This is the one by my house, but not in my community. That one is out now (Gafford Fire)
(Cerritos Fire) The largest blaze spread across 10,500 acres between Corona and Lake Elsinore, prompting the evacuation of more than 1,000 people. Six structures were destroyed and seven firefighters suffered minor injuries.
It was just 15 percent contained early Wednesday.
A man was accused of negligently setting the blaze. Richard Drew Brown was arrested Monday for investigation of two felony counts, fire Capt. Julie Hutchinson said. Witnesses told authorities he dragged a large piece of steel behind his vehicle, creating sparks that started several fires. Brown was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
This is the one by my work:
The 5,000-acre Eagle Fire in Riverside County, about 10 miles south of an area that burned last fall, destroyed 25 structures, including 14 homes, officials said. Containment was estimated at 30 percent.
