Last week of schooo-ooool --- Last week of schooooo-oooooool!!  Only 4 more school mornings to go!  Jolie and I were up until midnight last night trying to figure out some algebra that she needs to understand for her final exam today.  I don't remember this kind of pressure when I was twelve.  I swear my grandchildren will be taking finals in kindergarten!

Ready to start a brand new week?  Let's go!!  Wooooo hoooooo!

The first thing we do is go out for (don't read this) ice-cream.

Mmmmm, sounds like the perfect way to celebrate school year's end and summer's start!

I don't know what's worse: being anxiety-stricken over not enough study time, or being anxiety-stricken over extra anticipation. BUT summer is just around the corner, and then AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I've been searching the net trying to find a place we could go with treats that would fit within my calorie allowance.

Just have a sherbet, or even better, a sorbet. Less calories and fat, still all of the celebratory yumminess! In a cup, not cone, of course. ENJOY whatever you have!

No "last day" around these parts! We would ALL go nuts if school "ended"! We homeschool, and even my three year old asks for "school"! My daughter (just finished up K--we promote grades in June) just asked me if she could do some more math when she got out of the bathtub, LOL. Those long lazy days of summer would be a bit TOO long if school was out!

I've never liked either of those.

Sounds like you have some motivated learners there!
