Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketHappy Thirstday, Buddies!!

How did your Wednesday go?  Were you able to fit some extra steps into your day?  I found my chance while I was making dinner last night.  I was making some pasta, and it needed to boil for 14 minutes, so I walked while I waited!  :o)

Today, I'm going to get my glug on.  It's supposed to be warm here, so that will probably help to motivate me.  Mmmmmmmmmm - water.  :o)

Life is crazy around here.  Jolie is having a very tough time catching up from being sick for a week and taking finals at the same time.  I'm helping where I can - typing, etc. - but she's just got too much to do.  My heart is hurting for her really - she worked hard all semester, and now she has this mountain of grade-changing work all due at the same time, and there's no way she's going to get it all done well.  If you get a chance, will you say a little prayer for her today?  She's really under the gun, and I don't know what she's going to do.

So, I'm still fighting for computer time, but I'm going to keep trying to get in whenever everyone else is otherwise occupied.  When I become queen of the world, I'm going to get my own computer!

Have a waterful Thirstday, Buddies!  Glug on!

Good Morning Buddies. I have already drank almost 20 ounces of water today, and have more close by. DH and I took our walk last night and we added a little bit to our usual walk by going into a near by woods and nosing around. We also walked down to a nearby park and watched the fish, ducks, dogs and birds, it was a beautiful walk. We are so blessed to live in a gorgeous community with lots to enjoy, it makes our walks very enjoyable.
Blessings, Candi

Good morning buddies!

I did get in some extra steps, with doing laundry and taking it all upstairs, but I think I over did it. For every load and trip to the laundry room I have to step over a tall baby gate. We have an identical gate halfway up the stairs as well. I went over both way too many times and paid for it, with a pulled stitch and bleeding. I have to try to take it a little easier today (not easy to do with a 3 year old and almost 18 month old!!!).

So, plans for today...take it easy. I am making coffee right now and have had my Slim Fast already. It is super-super windy here today...I hope Ruth and her DH are ok camping!!!! I'm sure they are, it is just really windy and I know they are only like 20 miles from me, so I worry.

Put me down for at least 80ozs of water today. I did 88 yesterday!

Have a great Thirstday buddies!

Haha, I slept right through the storms we had, until they started turning on and off our electricity. My alarm kept beeping telling me it was not plugged in, plugged in, not plugged in.... If I didn't need that thing for work I would have chucked it across the room!

Man if we flood, I'm not going to be pleased.

Hello my dear buddies .... I have been few and far between, but reporting in in my head! I have vowed to put myself first again, but being busy, I don't. Sorry for all your storms, but, it is blowing in summer I am sure!

Talk to you later, thinking of each and everyone of you doing this thing and looking after yourselves.

Hi everyone!

My Wednesday went ok- did end up doing some emotional eating late in the day but stopped before it got too far out of control. I weigh in with a friend every Friday, and that keeps me in check, but I rally want to control myself when I don't have to get weighed (with my 110 lb friend by the way...)

Going to jorunal today on my compulsive overeating board to try to work out some of the eating issues of yesterday:)

Good news is that I've logged 10.5 miles since last updating my ticker- looking forward to updating it today!

As for Thurstday, I've had 32 oz so far and working on more.. I'm a water drinker so thirstday isn't to hard:)

Karen- prayers for sure to Jolie. Wish I could help- I'm a fast typer:)

Dawn-- Stupid me- didn't read right- colposcopy- hm.. maybe colonoscopy would have been more fun:) Thanks for the warning- I still may end up doing one (yoow!!!) because we still can't figure out what's going on. Thin red area that hurts off and on - yep- down there. What a pain. Sometimes thre are issues a bit further north- maybe it's all this working out (LOL- 45 min a day probably doesn't qualify as excessive...) but I can't handle not knowing.... :) BTW- take it easy with that stitch!

Ruth- I love love love camping- looking forward to hearing the details.

Shannon- looking at your ticker you are almost 1/2 way to your goal- nice nice nice!!

Hi to Terrill, Gretal and anyone else I may have forgotten at the moment.. talk to you later:)

Ann

I ate my sack lunch with friends today - it was fun to actually see someone before 2 when my co-worker gets in... HOWEVER, i'm use to eating at ONE so this eating at NOON thing DOESN"T feel good. I"M HUNGRY and I don't get off till FOUR, so I CAN"T eat my yogurt (snack) yet... GRRRR no eating in labs.... I'm just gunna drink my water and when I'm off the fifteen minute break, annoy my co-worker in hopes to get my mind off the fact I'm hungry now...

On another note, I get the house to myself tonight! YAY VEGGY MEALS! Don't ask why I eat them when no one is home, I'm not a vegitarian (can't even spell the word. My roomate, who is one, got me on it through the school year. I'll probably be eating even less meats next year considering we both are moving to a university appartment together come fall. (we are in the family/married/grad. area, even though we don't qualify - only because they made an exception for us for we didn't like the split level "normal" undergrad ones.)

Ok, thinking about fall takes my mind off the fact my stomach is telling me I should be eating now. Though for some strange reason I was really hungry this morning too... weird.
