Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappy Thirstday!


First - how was your Wednesday?  Were you able to find some extra steps to take?  It was really warm here and my head was still sore, so I didn't want to go outside, but what I did was basically fight the impulse to conserve my steps.  I had a bunch of bags to carry to the kitchen, and instead of loading them all up and staggering there, I took a few trips.  I needed something from my bedroom, and even though I knew one of the girls was going to be passing right by there, I went and got it myself.  I was thirsty, but it was going to be lunch time in about half an hour - I considered waiting for my water until I was in the kitchen anyway, but got up and walked to the kitchen right then.  I did that kind of thing all day - not sure how many steps I added, but my legs were actually a little sore when I woke up this morning, so I think I accomplished something!


Now, on to the glugging!  I think I've been doing fairly well with that - the temps around here have been a big help.  I'm going to measure today though to get a better idea of how I'm doing.

Morning Karen!

I did indeed get in some extra steps. I was going to go rollerblading last night but my friends mentioned they were going walking. So I tried to get there to go with them but was late, so I ran to catch up to them. I ended up running .75 mile and then walked that back to the beginning with them. So I got in a mile & a half that I wasn't planning. And when we got back to the beginning, they left and I put on my rollerblades and got moving =)

And it helped!! My ticker moved!! Finally, a day under two weeks for it to move, but it did it! I need to get a new blinkie since I hit a new milestone! ;)

Hmm, today I will commit to 100oz. And I gotta be careful because I'm going to dinner with friends tonight...and I need to order something healthy! So that's my challenge. Then this weekend I've decided to drive down to PA to visit my family. So I'm planning on 3 runs in the four days I'll be there. Or two runs if I stay three days. Gotta see.

Anyhoo, hope all my buddies have a wonderful thirstday- glug on buddies!

Hi Girls,


today Im still feeling eh. Its been hectic at work so far and not to mention AF finall visited. I want nothing more than to curl up under the blankets and sleep. Unfortunately I cant. After work Im meeting a friend for coffee/dinner. She's been really stressed and Im concerned for her so I wanted to catch up with her.


I think thats all for now =/

It is storming like crazy here again, tornados, hail, flooding, wind and lightening.
