Happy Sunday, all! I hope you have plans for a wonderful day. The girls are busy making breakfast for their dad, and then we'll get ready to meet my family for lunch. I'm still working on Dad's present. I hope he likes it.
Wow- looks like everyone is out celebrating Father's Day!
I've been away since Thursday at my nephew's high school graduation in New Hampshire-- the graduation was great but the trip was absolutely horrible.... massive plane delays and the usual uncomfortableness with my sister... needless to say I finished out the binging I started a week ago--
Now I'm determined to get back on track----- and to be more in touch on the board:)
I hope everyone is out giving their fathers a good day.
This week has been a long one for me. Class has been hard, home hasnt been the greatest and on top of everything my computer has been broke. I have a laptop and my screen has quit working. DH hooked up a monitor to it and 2 days ago that quit working. I cant win this week. But on the bright side I have made some good tips at school this past week and today my mother in law and sister in law came over today so I could do their hair. I didnt make her pay but she did give me a little bit. I have now made about $50 from tips and what I made today. I am really proud of the work that I have done.
Well buddies, I am off but I promise I will be back tomorrow. Tomorrow is a new day and I am getting back on the diet wagon and going to come up with a game plan on how to stay on it. My elliptical is feeling terribly neglected and its not liking that. I have to do something about that.
Wayne was home. Jensen was home. I was home. It was amazing to have us all together for a whole day! We went to a local hardware store to pick up all of the necessities for recycling (bins, bags, etc.) because our county has implemented a mandatory new garbage collection program (they will not pick up black/green bags of garbage any longer). I am sure I will get used to it after a few weeks, but for now, I am trying to follow the 4-page instructions on what goes where, and gets picked up at what time on which day, from this or that-coloured bin/bag. EGADS!!!!
Wayne enjoyed the outings we made, though. We also pulled some weeds in desperate anticipation of getting ANY of our yard done this week .
Ahhh, family is such a lovely thing, isn't it? ;o) Sorry you had to deal with sis and yusky travel, Ann, but I'm glad you got to see your nephew graduate.
You're home now, and sounding so determined. Let's lose this need to binge/harm ourselves with food. We do NOT deserve to treat ourselves that way....right?? Big hugs,
Congrats on enjoying your new work and for making tips, Tammy! That is awesome!! It really HAS been a crap-week, hasn't it? I've felt it, too....but THIS WEKK will be outstanding...right???
