GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!!

Getting a late start today. Last night was just one of those nights. Every time I settled down to sleep, someone showed up with a question that started a conversation. Kelsy, bless her heart, heard a strange noise at about 3:30 in the morning, so she came in to tell us about it and stayed to talk until about 5:00. Then Dan's medicine alarm (he takes meds and then goes back to sleep) went off at 5:30. He was so sleepy he didn't even hear it, so I woke him up to take his medicine and laid back down. He was also so sleepy that he could figure out how to turn off the alarm - he was hitting the snooze button instead - so it kept going off. Some nights a girl is just not meant to sleep I guess. LOL
Soooooooooooooo, how is your Wednesday so far, Buddies? Did you wake up with the will to walk? Are your toes tingling? Are your dogs chomping at the bit? Today is Walksday after all -- let's all look for those extra steps wherever we can find them!

Morning Karen! Sorry you didn't get much sleep today- should I order you to take a nap? I've done it before, I'll do it again ;)
Although yesterday I was back home, I was definitely NOT on plan =( ugh! I think I was really struggling with AF being a complete jerk- telling me to eat EVERYTHING in sight- I don't even wanna really add up the calories. I guesstimated and it was about 2100. Not fun! So I vowed this morning to be good no matter how much she tells me to eat stuff. And to help me I decided to exercise in the morning so I had more motivation to stay on plan.
So now I've already exercised- 447 calories on the elliptical- and I've eaten breakfast (oatmeal and brown sugar) and my lunch is packed (total of 600 calories including 2 snacks) so I am set to be on plan. Now I just gotta get to work!! Ahh- I'm late!!

Thats a shame you didnt get enough sleep Karen, hope you can take a nap today. But you right sometimes its just one of those nights.
I did not wake up with the will to walk this morning. I got home so late and ate dinner waaay too late. I got up early to maybe walk before work but that did not happen. I felt like I was hung over so tired.

Got up, did a little yoga, ran for 1 mile and took the dog for a 20 min walk, now I'm off to run a mojito tent all day... we'll see how that goes. I have this annual fundraiser event where 75 fine food restaurants gather in a park and people buy tickets to sample all their favorite foods. It's fun and about as tempting as it's gonna get. I'm setting the bar pretty low today, but I packed a salad and some fruit for lunch. Event goes 5 to 10PM
I hope you all get your naps and have a good walk... it's beautiful in New England today:)
