It's Loseday Tuesday!!!  Time to re-focus!  Time to re-energize!!  Time to re-evaluate!!!


Soooo, looking back over the last week of weight loss efforts, where do you feel strong, and where do you see the need for improvement?


I'm feeling strong as far as waiting until I'm hungry to eat.  I've been avoiding snacking to calm my nerves -- stress feels like hunger to me I think, but I've been working to learn the difference.  A place where I'd like to improve is my old problem of rushing through my food.  I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, and I swear I hardly remember eating it.  I have to learn to savor each bite.  That's what I want to focus on today.

Good morning buddies!


Happy Loseday! My plan for the day is to stay on plan. Just because we have house guests doesn't mean I can eat just because they are. So, I plan to just stay on plan.


Not much going on here. We have a pet tadpole now. Target had a Diego frog/tadpole habitat on clearance for $4.98 so I bought it. (I wanted it back when it was $20, but couldn't see spending that much for it, so clearance was good). We just now have a few tadpoles in our pond so Emily and I went out and caught one. It has gotten so much bigger just since yesterday! It will be fun to watch as it changes. Emily named him Stinker because I called him a little stinker while I was trying to catch him, LOL!

Hi Buddies!


Lets see where do I need to improve......hrmm. Just what exactly I eat. I've been doing good but theres always room for improvement. Such as one night bill made barbecue chicken and corn. I really didnt need the barbecue.


And keeping on top of my work outs and my foot. Since my foot can get in the way I need to make sure I take care of it.


Today Im going to eat my cereal for lunch (ate it for breakfast). Do my walking and get my cleaning done. My cleaning will help keep me away from snacking since Ive slightly slacked off a bit.

Morning Karen!

I'm feeling good today. I am down a bit more and I would love to be 175.something by the end of the week, but I won't stress if I'm not since I've lost almost a pound over the past 7 days. So I'm happy with that =)

I need to remember to eat lightly for dinner because I keep catching myself having a bunch of things I don't need and that stinks. Last night was a real struggle with all the food (Todd had oreos for dessert...and I had 2/3 of a 100 calorie pack and some milk...man oh man was that difficult!), but I did really well and was rewarded by the scale =)

I've been exercising morning and night lately but I had to be in court early this morning so I couldn't exercise this morning =( I think I'll try to sneak in two exercises tonight instead- or at least one longer one. I dunno, we'll see.

Anyways, I'll stay super focused for Loseday and hopefully have an even bigger loss to report by friday! Ooh-weee, I'd be so thrilled!

Hey Dawn! That sounds like fun with the tadpole! My sister did something like that recently, too with a bunch of those things. One tip...hers didn't change for a REALLY long time and she started to worry about them. Turns out she needed to add some chemical or something to the water that would have occurred naturally outside and then they all started to change. I dunno if the kit has that or not, hers didn't. =) Hers ended up being fine...just were tadpoles quite a bit longer than normal- haha. Wish we could do that- stay young for as long as we wanted! Too bad you can never go back though!

Haha, it's easy ;) I bought those little cupcake 100 calorie packs- I got the cinnamon streussel(sp.) coffee cake ones! Mmm-mmm-mmm are they tasty or what! They're actually my favorite type so far. And they're very satisfying to me for a dessert. So I immediately offer Todd one (there are three tiny cupcakes in a pack) and then I eat the other two. And because they're packaged I never want to open another one even though I gave one away =)

Hey, I'm glad you're not getting too down about some of the numbers going up. You've had a tough month and the important thing is you're back on board and ready to get losin'. I can't wait to see those numbers drop =)
