Welcome to Walksday! First things first -- how did your Loseday go? I'm feeling pretty good about mine. Lunch was particularly good as far as mindful eating and savoring every bite. I struggled a little more with dinner, but I kept catching myself and slowing back down, so that was an improvement.
Today is our day to find those extra steps! I'm not sure exactly where I'll find them, but my eyes are peeled. I've just got to walk on Walksday! Can you imagine a Walksday with no walking?

Morning Karen!!
I am feeling super happy this morning! My loseday went really well. I did tons of exercise so I'm gonna take it a bit easier today. I didn't have time to exercise in the morning because I had to get to court, so I went after work and did lots. I rollerbladed 5 miles. Then when my friend got to the park I walked two miles with her. And then after dinner last night I also used the elliptical for 20 minutes, but on a low pace, only burning 200 calories. And I kept my calories around 1500, so all in all it was a great day! And a great morning because I woke up down another .6lb which brought me into my goal for the week (175.anything)!!
Whatever I'm doing is working, so I just hope I can keep it going for as long as possible! I'm just trying to stick to Dawn's challenge of making it to the 4th!
So today, I'm going to exercise this morning and then again after work but that's it ;) And I'll try to keep food good, too!
Oh, and Karen, I hope you find tons of extra steps throughout your day! ;)

I do a lot of little things, but I'll tell you the one that makes the most difference to whether I lose or not is journalling.
Yay I love how chipper you sound! And walking about 2 miles just to weigh in?!? That is amazing! You rock girl!

Hi buddy! Welcome aboard! We love new people around here! I think wanting a baby is GREAT motivation to lose weight!
As for walking, there's no required amount, but you can sure set goals for yourself! We all try to make little changes today to get in extra steps. I exercise regularly, but only on Wednesdays do I choose the parking spot farthest away from the jogging park entrance- HAHA!! There's some extra steps ;) I'm sure whatever you do will be fine!!
