GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Sat, 07-19-2008 - 7:47am

Welcome to the weekend, Everybuddy!!  What are your plans?  Do you have some fun on the schedule?  Some relaxing?  I'm not quite sure what we're doing with our weekend, but I'm glad it's here.  It'll be nice to have Dan home and have Kelsy here for at least part of the weekend.  (She's going to visit the young man today.)

Whatever we do, let's make sure we take advantage of all that weekends have to offer -- time to get enough sleep, time to step outside our usual exercise routines, time to cook healthy foods, time to laugh, time to be silly, time to refresh and recharge and get ready for another week of LOSING!!

Happy Saturday!  Find the fun!

I'm going to go on a service project - a bunch of us from church are going to go help someone clean up their garden.

I have some trouble - there's a couple parties going on this week and they all have cake. :-( I also really need to go to the store, but I'm thinking I'll put that off till tomorrow.

Bah, who invented cake!?

HAAAPPPPYYYYYYYYYY SATURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo, I am FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

LOL Heya buddies, have I ever missed you all!!! I've probably gained a ton in the past few weeks from the incredible stress, but now I am BACK!! I wanna LOSE!!!

I wrote my marketing final exam this morning, came home, passed out for 3 hours, and am now at the old job helping out a co-worker who had to leave urgently. I'm kinda glad 'cause it gives me a chance to catch up here, see my old chums at the old job, and try to get rid of some of this weird energy/anxiety.

My focus is going to be all about the food: what I buy, how I cook/prepare, how much I choose to eat, what I truly need v. what is just giving me a comfort-fix, etc. And some concerted effort in the exercise wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

Hope you are all doing REALLY well....I am going to do my best to catch up now, and please forgive me if I miss someone in my responses (it won't be intentional). :o) Big hugs,

That's going to feel so good to do yard work for someone else. DH and I did that last summer for a girlfriend (single mom) who was just too overwhelmed to get to it. She was SO grateful.

I finished my school year today (that's exciting in itself), but now I'll actually have time to do OTHER glad-to-be-alive activities!LOL I'll keep everyone posted.

Enjoy your evening, Meme!!

Congrats on your hour of exercise, Mary! Even interrupted, it does a world of good.

I hope the rain stays away and you can have a really great visit with the family (the pasta salad sounds wonderful). Hugs,
