Welcome to Loooooooooooseday Tuuuuuuuuuuuesday!!  So, what shall we lose today?  Here's my idea:  Let's make this "Waste It or Waist It" day!  Let's LOSE a temptation.  Is there something in your cupboards/fridge/desk drawer/etc. that's calling your name when it shouldn't be?  Some leftovers?  Something sweet?  Something salty?  Maybe it's time to LOSE those foods - give them away, throw them away, run them over with your car - whatever it takes!


Today I am going to LOSE a package of cookies.  It's sitting in a drawer, and the cookies are stale, and I still ate two of them yesterday!  Today, I'm tossing them in the garbage!

Yep it would be but considering I ate it..WELL WE did I shared with the kids so that was kinda good!

Hrmm that really does put things into perspective for me. I really dont see harm in eating late. However if I eat too late for some reason I am really hungry in the morning. Weird huh? you would think it would be the opposite.


They also say for diabetics theres a spike in their blood sugar levels. Maybe that is connected. It makes me lean towards thinking that your digestive system may work a little faster.


Either way I think we'll be okay. we can try it this way for a bit, and can always change it later.

Sounds like you had an awesome time at the gym and a excellent work out. I wish I liked Slim Fasts because they would be so easy for me to do with my schedule. I may try them again. Hope Aiden feels better. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hey Ruth...we went camping in MG this weekend, at the KOA there. It was nice, and we had fun. They have a pool, playground, shuffle board, mini golf...it was pretty fun!


Just thought I'd share that we were in your neck of the woods this weekend. :)

I never liked Slim Fast before either, but I really like their Optima plan and their creamy milk chocolate. Yummy, I think!

Howdy buddies!

I miss you guys! Last week and this week have been busy. Last week with work then getting ready to go away, this week with recovering from being back and work, of course. I've also started the very long road of applying for jobs- ugh! I'm exhausted! And last night was my first free night in quite some time...and what do I do? Go to bed early? Oh no, I let Todd talk me into going to the latest showing (10:50) of The Dark Knight...we didn't get home until about 1:45am and I woke up at 6:15 cause I wasn't sleeping well. Ugh!

Anyhoo, I have been less than motivated lately with exercise because of being so tired. So to help with the problem, I've taken up riding my bike to work. It's about a 20 minute ride each way, so I save gas and get some exercise. So far I haven't been rained out and I'm about 2 weeks in. I was back to ticker last week and then vacation with my parents came along and now I'm back up a few pounds- ugh! Oh well. I have two weeks to get below 170 and I will do this!! And I have exactly four weeks until the Vegas trip with my girls and I would love to be around 165 by then!

I can and will do this!! (Oh and I didn't toss any food- sorry! Last thursday night our fridge died and we lost a ton of food. So that cleaned it out pretty well. I wasted so much then, I don't wanna toss any more- sorry!)
