GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Mornin', y'all!

Well, we're having fun around here! LOL  We had a big (really big) thunderstorm here yesterday, and during it, part of our power went out -- which was weird.  All over the house, things turned off, but also all over the house some things stayed on.  When the storm was over, our computer, air conditioner, window fan, refrigerator, stove, and a few other things wouldn't work.  (Also, our carbon monoxide detector went off and since I didn't even know it was there, the girls and I had a heck of a time tracking down the source of the really loud noise! LOL  We used to have a c.o. detector in the hallway, but it broke.  Evidently, Dan replaced it with a unit that can be plugged into an outlet, but neglected to tell the wife. ;o) It was buried under a china hutch in the dining room, and wow, was it loud.)  Anyway, back to our story.)  Dan says he thinks we've lost a "phase" - which means that for some reason, we're not getting the power needed to run major appliances.  It also means that any outlets that were on that phase are not working.  The computer was on one of those outlets, so now we have a (very attractive) extension cord running through the house to another outlet.  Dan didn't get home until late last night, so he decided (wisely) not to go out into the yard looking for damage in the dark.  When he gets up, he's going to try to figure out what happened.

Anywho, enough about me and my phases (? -LOL).  How was everybuddy's Walksday?  Did you find some extra steps?  I used the phone trick again - this time on several phone calls between me and Dan.  I walked all over the house while I talked.  (Couldn't call Mom this time.  She just had a knee replacement on Monday.)

PhotobucketDoesn't walking make you thirsty?  Me too!  Thank goodness it's THIRSTday!!  I'm going to drink at least 80 ounces of water today.  My shoulder has been bothering me a lot more the last few days, and I realized last night that I'm not doing as well with hydration.  It might not make a difference in the shoulder, but it's worth a shot!

If you get a chance, can you pray for my phases?  (Can you tell I have no idea what I'm talking about?)  I'm really hoping it's something that can be quickly and inexpensively repaired.  Thanks, Buddies.  (((HUGS)))

Have a wonderful Thirstday, Everybuddy!!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Hello Everyone-

Karen-glad to hear your power problems are fixed and without costing you anything, except for a little inconvience.

I did drink some water today, but I made up for it by going to the beach today with the kids for 4 hours.
