GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Happy weekend!  What are everybuddy's plans for the next two days?  I don't really know what I'm doing yet.  Kelsy's off to see her young man, Dan will be working for a lot of the weekend, and we can't afford to go anywhere anyway, so Jolie and I are going to have to think of some kind of fun to have here.  Maybe we can play some kind of board game or find a movie on TV.  We'll find something to do!  That's my motto - find the fun!

Oh, BTW, I danced around my bedroom to a Manwich commercial yesterday.  LOL  How's that for finding dancing opportunities?  (It was actually pretty fun to dance to.)  ;o)

Happy Saturday, Everybuddy!

Morning Karen!

I think you'll be able to find something fun- you're good at that! (Take the manwich commercial, for instance).

Yesterday I got a little bit of dancing in because there was a dj at the work picnic...and I wasn't going all out dancing but I had a bit more than a beat in my step as I walked everywhere!

We had a good time last night. There were tons of fried food! And only one type of non-fried meat. It was a teriyaki chicken, so I grabbed a piece of that, had a big salad with low-cal italian (the only low-cal option they had), and a couple salt potatoes. (Salt potatoes are a regional favorite- they boil small white potatoes in water with a cup of salt so the skin get so salty and a little bit crusty- yum!) A lot of places that serve salt potatoes already have them sitting in a vat of butter but because people were gonna need to get melted butter for their clams anyways, they left them dry- which meant I could eat a couple! Yum! I also had two small bites of Todd's fried food choices. Haha. But really I was very good. And I played frisbee for a half hour after eating.

And I woke up having passed the 70lb mark!! I now have 1.6lbs to lose to get to into the 160s, and my birthday is 10 days away. I can do this! I just have to be very good =)

Now as for my plans for the weekend, I have none. Todd's dad is coming up on Saturday, so we'll spend most of the day with him and I guess today is just a bit of cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping.

I'll bet a good concert is a huge calorie burner.

Mmmmm, the idea of fresh fruits and veggies from a farmer's market made my mouth water.
