Welcome to Walksday, Buddies!! Got your walking shoes on?* I got a head start on Walksday last night. I was restless I guess, so while I was cooking dinner, I walked. I'd stir something and then walk through the house, and then I'd check something and walk through the house, and then I'd wash something and then walk through the house. I'm going to try to remember that restless feeling today. It really kept me moving!
How did your Loseday Tuesday go? I have to admit that I could have done better with my goal. Yesterday turned out to be an extremely stressful day, and I caved to temptation several times. I also resisted a few times, so I guess there's something to be said for that! The urge to eat under stress is definitely one thing I need to lose and lose and lose until it stays lost!

*For new buddies - On Walksday Wednesday, we look for extra steps anywhere we can find them - parking farther away, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking while on the phone, doing an extra lap around the block or a few extra minutes on the treadmill - whatever!

Good Wednesday morning! My last "full" day of freedom before starting teacher inservice tomorrow at noon. But I am ready to get back in the swing of things. I even got up without hitting the snooze button this morning when the alarm went off at six this morning! My success for the day!
I did very well yesterday, even had lunch out and did not overdo it. I exercised by doing yardwork, actually had to change clothes in the middle of the project because I was sweating so much. Today our temp is forecast to hit 100 so my exercise will probably involve dancing around the house and pulling out one of my WATP videos and chumming up with Leslie.

Hello Buddies! Happy walksday! Today is my cardio day. I forgot my badge again! grr....so after dinner I'll just take a few laps around the larger block. I'll take an extra lap at lunch. And not to mention the 55 bus.
Lose day was....okay. Trying to feel good about work lately Ive just been feeling like a failure....but Im trying and Ive been getting my backedup work done so Im glad about that.
Radar's is not doing that great. We found a few scabs on his lower belly. Bill was swearing it was ticks but Im doubting it. Ive heard that they never actually burrow all the way in but really I have no clue. So we consulted this "First Aid for Dogs" book and it said use alcohol or oil and the tick will back out. We did...and nothing. We did get a closer look at the scabs and they're actually coming off. But they look so red and Im pretty sure they're infected. I feel so bad for my baby. Luckily hes shown no sign of being uncomfortable. Im trying to get him a dr appointment nowso we'll see how that goes.

Walking wednesday is going to turn into a thirsty thursday for me.

Good morning buddies.
My loseday went well. We went to a fast food place with an outdoor park (MOMS Club) and I only ate a grilled chicken sandwich, bottom bun only, no mayo, no grilled bun, with a slice of tomato and lettuce. I didn't eat any french fries or ice cream, so that's a good victory for me! I then went to the gym last night.
Nothing planned for today. I might take the kids for a walk later to get my walksday walking in, but we'll see. I already went out twice to get Little Stinker flies. He's had 8 small flies and one big, juicy house fly size one. He should be good for a few hours now, LOL.
