Just reaching out for support!

Hi there, I have been a long time poster of the boards but I never thought to come get weight loss support on one.
I'm Chloe, and I'm about 40 pounds overweight right now. And for some godawfulhorrendous reason, I can't seem to stay motivated to stop eating crap and exercise regularly.
I exercise. I eat healthy most of the time. And when I'm doing it I feel great.
I had lost about 15 pounds last November by really watching what I ate and running up to an hour a day. But I left the job that had the gym in the basement, which made it super easy to work out because I would do it on my lunch break, and because I couldn't work out on a full stomach, I would eat really healthy all morning and then didn't want to eat bad all afternoon. Now, I don't get to the gym till after work and then if at all. I also moved in with my boyfriend and got happy fat growing all over me. It's really sad.
I did just recently get a puppy and I plan on taking him to the dog park and running with him there, but come winter that won't work so well.
So I'm hoping to find some support here and maybe make a few new friends!
So hello!

Hi!
I'm really glad you posted.

We specialize in friends here, so you came to the right place!
Chloe, WELCOME to an amazing support group. You have found buddies here that will stick with you through it all.
"I can't seem to stay motivated to stop eating crap and exercise regularly"...I could have said that sentence (I HAVE). I have felt like that for 3 years now, and it SUCKS SO BADLY...you know? Isn't the effort required WORTH IT? YES!!!
Congrats on your new puppy and your happy relationship. Lots to concentrate on, but maybe now it's time to put focus on YOU, your health, your goals. What do you think? Get out there and run with that dog (what breed? I have a Black Lab that LOVES to get his exercise with me and I let him - and myself - down too often). STOP eating crap (don't buy it, don't have it around; do whatever you have to do to make better choices). And lastly, NEVER give up on yourself. One slip-up or bad day will not sabotage a healthy plan. Get right back on that horse at every opportunity.
Now, did that help at all??LOL I sure gave myself the talking-to I needed. Thanks!! ;o)
I look forward to getting to know you and in sharing our successes together!

Welcome, Chloe! I also have a motivation problem. Hopefully we can continue to all motivate each other to be huge losers!!!!!
