It's Friday! We'd better get our toes a'tappin' -- I smell a weekend coming on! What are your plans for the weekend, Buddies? I'm going to spend today getting a hernia by helping Kelsy move back into her dorm. Then I'm going to spend the evening with a heating pad and a box of tissues. I hope the Olympics will be particularly distracting tonight. On Sunday we're thinking of driving down to my parents' house for a few more days. Mom could use the company while she recovers from her knee surgery, and Jolie wants/needs to spend as much time with the pool as she can before they fill it in this fall.
Thirstday was good - I definitely glugged more than I have been. Now, I just have to remember to keep it up!
Have a wonderful Friday, Buddies! Listen for the music!

Aw, I'm so glad your mom and dad are getting through this surgery like pros.
Jensen is starting to talk about "going away" to university, and I think of you each time she does, as my heart wrenches. I hope Jolie is up to her silliest best and making you laugh a lot (I know shes really missing L'il K, too). Hugs and love to all of you. I hope you go to your folks place and have a ball.
My vacation was okay. It was nice to have time off to refresh and relax. It was great to spend time with my BIL & SIL, & our 11 year-old nephew, Keanan, and see what kind of guy he's turning into. My oldest nephew, Brandon (he's 16) was away with friends until the night before we left (no one knew he'd be gone so long). Jensen was MISERABLE the whole time because she wanted to spend time with him the most. The weather didn't really turn nice until the 3rd day we were there, and we only ended up spending one day at the beach, one in a boat on the lake, and one at the pool. The pace of life in that city is INSANE, too (everything revolves around HUGE money....and I am NOT a keep-up-with-the-Joneses kind of gal). Oh, we saw lots of wildlife, too (black bear, big-horn sheep, peregrine falcons, golden eagles, red-tailed hawks). All in all, I am grateful for the time with my own family the most. We had SO many tears-streaming-down laughs. And now, 2 whole days off before work....aaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
Gotta share a couple of pics: a fun pic from BIL/SILs house (that's Keanan in mid-air...cool shot, eh??), and one of the Rockies as we were driving home.

That is a cool pic!
LOL Hey, call me up when you get to Banff and we can have a coffee!
I have missed you guys, too, more than you know. Life just isn't the same without daily contact with my girls.
Big hugs,
