GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Well, Kelsy is back at college.  I did pretty well with boo-hoo avoidance until it was time to say goodbye.  I got teary then, but resisted the urge to throw her over my shoulder and kidnap her, so I'm feeling good about it.

My plans for the day include pulling the house together.  Kelsy blew through here like a tornado when she was packing. LOL  Then we have to pack up to go back to my parents' house for a few days.  I think we'll be leaving tomorrow morning, but we haven't actually figured it out for sure.  I guess we weren't thinking much past Kelsy leaving.

What are your plans for the day, Buddies?  I hope you find lots of fun in surprising places!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

I don't think I can do anything more fun than I already did this morning! (see my victory section post)

Good morning, Karen! I know that your time away will be a good distraction. Sometimes the non-planning kind of planning is better. You never know what will transpire to bring unanticipated smiles. ;o)

I almost got giddy thinking that it's only Saturday and that I have the WHOLE weekend off (felt like a Sunday to me until I read this post). I am going to try to accomplish more stuff in my yard (getting it cleaned up from all of the construction mess would be great).

Oh, I heard some super-BIZARRE news yesterday. A "friend" I had in the 80s and 90s is in jail in Georgia on a ton of felony charges (news clip: http://www.wtoctv.com/Global/story.asp?S=8830148&nav=0qq6).

I almost fell off my chair in laughter when I saw it yesterday on our local news. Laughter because I decided NOT to be her friend when it became clear what a liar and con-artist she was after she tried to rake ME over the coals in one of her schemes. So, if any of you think that there is no justice in the world, rest assured that there IS!!LOL

On that happy note , have an outstanding day! Don't clean too hard.

Good morning, Ruth! I hope you went and worked your hiney off at Curves. That'll set a great tone for the day. I'll keep you and your folks in my prayers. Moving is so hard. I pray the transistion is as smooth as can be for everyone. Hugs,

Happy Saturday! Now that school is back in session, my weekends are pretty routine ... cleaning house, laundry, yardwork, lesson planning for the week ahead ... oh, and lots of extra sleep when I can manage it! But getting back into a regular routine is so good for me, lots less nibbling and snacking and more moving around.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good Saturday evening, Sue. I have to agree about "routine". I am almost looking forward to classes starting up again in 3 weeks, so I have something "productive" to do with my evenings. LOL
