GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, BUDDIES

9/11 - this day is so difficult, isn't it? Even now it all seems unreal. I remember so clearly how I found out. I came to the board to post, and one of our buddies had been on already saying that we were "under attack". I flew to my TV and couldn't believe my eyes. I don't think I'll ever forget how I felt on that day.
So, Walksday -- how did yours go? I'm feeling good about mine. I parked waaay back in the parking lot and walked to and from the building. I also walked while I was having a phone conversation with K. She's excellent company on a walk. LOL
On to Thirstday! I've been doing better with my glugging this week, and I swear I can feel a difference. My self control as far as overeating and snacking definitely improves when I'm hydrated. I'm going to keep up the gluggification today for sure!
Have a waterful day, Buddies!

My FIL and I were walking the dogs and my MIL came home from working night shift.
I was in first period, psychology to be exact. One of the hall aids came to tell the teacher, we had put the tv on. We were under the impression it was an accident. Then going from class to home room (I was in High school) it was going around that a second plane had hit and it was actually an attack. By lunch time kids were being taken out of school. Everything closed that day.

I was in California, 3 hours behind east coast time, and I was in my car driving to work when I heard it on the radio. I got to work and they were saying that a second plane hit and it was an attack. Then the radio and internet news we were watching and listening to said that LAX was under lock down and one of the planes was headed there. I don't think we got any work done that day, we were all glued to the radio and internet.
Happy Thirsday everybuddy. My Walksday didn't amount to much walking. It was good and on plan though, so that is good. Today I will have at least 80oz of water.
It is dark and raining here today, the kind of day where you want to just stay in and cuddle in blankets or something like that. Good thing I can, LOL. The kids are coloring with markers right now so I should go watch them. Earlier this week I had to repaint a wall because Aiden colored all over it. Arggg!!!
Make it a great one, buddies!

This has to be one of my favorite moments. Rainy weekend, nothing going on, good movie on tv, and jsut cuddle up with a blanket, pillow or two, and Radar (when hes not being a pain) and just relax. I absolutely love that!
Have fun coloring!

9/11 - I remember I was at work and we happened to have the radio on in the office that day.
MARY Loving Mom and Wife
I remember how surreal that day was, too. We turned on the news to hear about it before heading out to get Wayne's new car. We sat in the tiny dealership office, packed with tons of employees and customers, watching the buildings tumble on a teeny tv screen. It was silent, everyone had tears streaming down.
