GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Happy Loseday!  First of all, thank you to all of you that wished J a happy birthday.  She had a good day -- too much homework, but good otherwise.  What's wrong with these teachers anyway?  ;o)

So, the big question -- what do you want to lose today?  (Besides pounds of course.)

I want to lose huge portions.  I've found myself in the position of eating more food than I wanted several times lately because my eyes were too big for my stomach when I was serving myself.  Once I've got the food on my plate, I hate to stop -- even if I'm full!  So, today, I'm going to concentrate on putting a more sensible portion on my plate to start with and putting my fork down when I'm full - whether my plate is empty or not.

Let's have a lose-fest of a day!!

YES, the whole idea of perfection has more negative than positive consequences. Great plan to ditch that idea, buddy! And congrats on another stellar workout!!

I'm getting ready to head back to class, but I wanted to say that what I am giving up is what you're losing, too, Karen. HUGE portions.

I've been eating WAY more than I need to lately. And my problem is I often make super-low-cal foods so I CAN eat more. So it gets me in the habit of eating lots. Then I make a crappy meal and don't downsize the portion.

So if I'm eating poorly, it HAS to be less!! I have class in an hour, but I came home and ate just a small pulled pork sandwich (homemade) and I may have something very small when I get home. And I won't try to fill myself up with the second meal, I'll only eat to not be hungry!

Oh, on a good note...despite having 8:30 class and going to sleep late because being up reading and whatnot, I STILL woke up at 5:45 to exercise before class! Huzzah!

"That said, my plan is to give it up to God, all of it."

I can't think of a better plan than that, ((((Ronaldo)))).

Thanks you guys.

I'm getting better at it I think. I uninstalled aim and other distracting program. And then I picked up a widget that will put my computer to sleep after an hour and a half. :-D So hopefully I do better.

It's nice to read how everyone else is doing. I'll see ya tomorrow!
