Howdy doody, Buddies!

How was your Loseday?  Did you lose something?  Did it fight with you?  I did much better with portion control last night at dinner, and even left food on my plate - I feel good about that.  Portion control did put up quite a battle though.  Geez, it's so tempting pile up the food!  More of the battle today!

Also today -- Walksday!!  Where will we find extra steps today?  A little walk at lunch?  Going the long way?  Taking the steps instead of the elevator?  Getting up and walking in place while watching TV?

I'm planning to go location scouting for the ghost walk I'm directing, so I should get plenty of walking in with that, and I also plan to do a little something here at home -- maybe the walking in place.  I used to do that, and it really uses the muscles if you lift your legs high!

Have a wonderful Walksday, Buddies!

Howdy-ho (cyber) neighborino!

My loseday went really well. And at least for the day I lost those huge portions I was trying to leave behind. I ate a sandwich before class (and good thing, because I woulda been starving, which woulda been especially bad when I got home) and then when I got home I ate only a small bowl of cereal. I really considered eating more because I felt hungry, but when I was done I wasn't near full but I tried to accept the feeling as "not hungry" and that was good enough for me. I'll make more efforts today to keep the portions small. Todd has hinted about grabbing fast food on his way home, so I really want to remember to suggest Mickey D's salad...how good does *that* sound? Yum yum yum!

I'm just really hoping my efforts I'm making this week are gonna pay off and get me to my goal for the week- don't wanna be disappointed (not that it will matter either way...I'm feeling pretty good about this again!)! The normal amount of effort required just always seems SO MUCH HARDER to put in that first week back...I just wanna see some results for the efforts made!

I'll look for my extra steps today. Maybe I can squeeze in a walk tonight as well as exercising this morning. We'll see =)

Karen, I hope you (and the rest of my buddies) have a great Walksday!

I lost some of my laziness yesterday when it came to cleaning the house.

Hey Mary,

We've been getting on and off rain here for three days now. I also lost my laziness yesterday as well. My roommate and I cleaned the entire kitchen and bathroom. It was an interesting afternoon cause of that. Fun, minus the allergies to dust.

My eye is sorta freaking out. I took a quiz early and am now home till work time.
I'm going to go to the gym today and walk the track, so that will get in some walking. I'm still at 169lbs, I hope I don't hit back up to 170, that would be soooo uncool.

Well, I have work and choir tonight, plus the gym and homework so, I'll see ya all on the 'Good thursday morning buddies,' thread tomorrow!

Rain

Enjoy the Simple.
