GOOD MONDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!
| Mon, 11-03-2008 - 8:07am |
Happy Monday, Buddies! What are your plans for today? I have all kinds of paperworky things to do -- bills, turning in my jury duty forms, grading papers, planning class.... I'm not sure my poor heart can take all this excitement. LOL Oh, here's something non-paperworky that I'm doing -- getting a flu shot! (Wow, I really need to plan my days better.) ;o)
On the good news front, Jolie has no school today, so we didn't have to get up at 6:00. Any day is better if it doesn't start at 6:00.
Have a marvelous Monday, Buddies!!

Good morning all!
Good Morning! This weekend wasn't very productive so I have lots to do today! I have a few bills to pay, I need to run to the SS Office to start the name change process, I need to clean my kitchen and do some laundry! And I need to walk Leia.
Today I need to concentrate on what I am putting into my mouth and body. I ate so much candy this weekend! Today I need to eat good food and not anymore junk!
Hey, stanggurl!
Good Morning Buddies, well - Mid Morning
I nearly missed my 8 am class today! How, with that extra hour of sleep?? I have no idea. I'm thinking I NEED to go to bed earlier!!!! I've also made up a schedule, that may or may not work, that includes another exercise thing compared to just my kickboxing, and studying with people in the library.
It's crunch time. 3 weeks till thanksgiving break, 2 weeks till finals - YIKES.
I'm down in pound-age though! I'm sitting at 163-flat. YAY. 4 pounds and I'll be in the 150s.... Ok, according to my scale in the 150s, but it's the direction that counts, not the number. :-P
I register for next semester classes. And it's slightly depressing. 18 credits!? 1 econ class (101), one English class (proposal writing), 3 chemical engineering class (shoot me), and 1 biochemistry class (I'm not doing well this semester, so we are re-taking it....) YIKES, again.
I might be getting more help, cause I went in to play the dyslexic and close to bipolar cards at vocational rehiblitation place. They are a group that helps "disabled" people get what they need to, to get the jobs they want / are suited for. If I get into the program, they will help with maybe funding, tutors, an academic counsilor, and that type stuff up to grad school. I feel bad for playing these cards though. I might be actually disabled, but I work well enough, and am solution-orritanted enough to figure out ways to be average in most of my classes. It might not be me at my best, but still, average works for alot of other people... why not me? thing is, next semester is going to BITE.
Alright, I have a quiz to study for in organic chemistry. Somedays I wonder why I picked this major, lol.
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and I hope you all have a good monday. :-)
P.s - Rain and bobbing for apples - not a good idea, I nearly drowned (in a bucket none
the less, lol)
P.P.s - This is my 200th post! YAY. I feel accomplished!
