GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!
21
Tue, 11-11-2008 - 10:48am

Who's that woman in the pink fuzzy robe racing around like a chicken with its head cut off?  Surely, she isn't supposed to leave for class in 45 minutes!  Surely, she didn't get involved in a discussion with her husband this morning and lose track of time!  Surely, she doesn't still need to take a shower and do her hair before she leaves!

Surely - she is, and she did, and she does!  Yeeeikes!!  I know exactly what I want to lose for Loseday - stress!  I will feel a lot better when I'm on top of things, and that means that I have to do some serious work and organizing.  I'm going to start right after class, and I don't intend this to be a one day project.  I'm stressed, and I eat when I'm stressed.  I've tried to stop the eating - unsuccessfully so far.  Maybe it's time to attack from another direction.  Watch out, stress!

What are you going to lose today, Buddies?

Happy Loseday Tuesday!

Yikes, Karen, you better run!!!!

Today we have No plans and Nowhere to be...yay!!! I am still in my PJ's and haven't showered and I may not until after I go to the gym tonight! I love days like this! I may do some laundry, but we'll see...

Today for Loseday I would like to lose my insecurities about who in school and MOMS Club doesn't like me or whatever. I hear about parties and playdates people are having/have had, and other things that I wasn't invited to (they talk about it right in front of me like I'm not even there) and it can really hurt my feelings and bring me down. But, not any more. It's their loss, not mine. They don't deserve my friendship, LOL! ;) (OK, I'm really going to start trying to believe that).

Make it a great Loseday buddies!

Thanks! Yes, it's been nice. I am still in my PJ's, I haven't showered yet, and I made a blanket fort for the kids over the kitchen table. I am slowly doing 2 loads of laundry as well.

Hey, I thought of you during that football game on Sunday. It was a good game (well, for us anyway). I really thought the Packers would win. I never thought he would miss that field goal. We really needed that win though.

Good Tuesday Evening Buddies!

I'm the newbie that posted this morning looking to lose weight before my 50th birthday.

Howdy buddy!

I'm glad you posted again! I saw your other post and was hoping you'd jump in to the daily posts. You may very well get a response for an individual buddy, but generally this board is about getting tons of buddies to report to! I believe the more the merrier is one of our many mantras =)

I know what you mean about getting home, being exhausted and just wanting to snack and not work out. Have you considered working out in the morning? If you try when you have the most energy then it's one less excuse. When I have time, I always try in the morning. Lately though I just haven't had enough time, so I end up working out when I get home. And like you, I have long days and don't get home until somewhere between 5:30 and 8:30 (it depends if I have class at night or not). And it's tough getting home and getting my butt on the elliptical. And also telling myself not to eat junky food, that's tough too.

I've found that trying to prep healthy food on the weekend really works. It has gotten me through Wednesday now by buying lots of frozen veggies and having cleaned and cut up chicken ready to be cooked, too.

Well, I hope you find something that works for you. Even if you don't do the prep, planning what you'll have early in the day (while you still have the energy when you think about it) may help you stick to it. Good luck!

LOL Your morning play-by-plays crack me up. I know the stress can be bad, but keep your humour and you'll get through it, buddy!

No more stress-eating, hear? You are doing damage and the "relief" from it is an illusion. Take control...you can do it and feel great about it!!!

BIG HUGS,
