GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!
21
Tue, 11-11-2008 - 10:48am

Who's that woman in the pink fuzzy robe racing around like a chicken with its head cut off?  Surely, she isn't supposed to leave for class in 45 minutes!  Surely, she didn't get involved in a discussion with her husband this morning and lose track of time!  Surely, she doesn't still need to take a shower and do her hair before she leaves!

Surely - she is, and she did, and she does!  Yeeeikes!!  I know exactly what I want to lose for Loseday - stress!  I will feel a lot better when I'm on top of things, and that means that I have to do some serious work and organizing.  I'm going to start right after class, and I don't intend this to be a one day project.  I'm stressed, and I eat when I'm stressed.  I've tried to stop the eating - unsuccessfully so far.  Maybe it's time to attack from another direction.  Watch out, stress!

What are you going to lose today, Buddies?

Happy Loseday Tuesday!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Dawn, I love your attitude and that you're working to get over your insecurity! I know that left-out feeling. Believe it or not, even though Jen is 15, it bugs me when the mothers of her volleyball teammates look at me like I have no business sitting with them on the bleachers (for what reason, I can't say, and it COULD just be my perception). Maybe Jen isn't a good enough player. Maybe I'm not in their clique. Maybe I stink. Whatever. It does hurt, but they are of no consequence to my life, good or bad. Remember that about those "women" too, okay??

You are lovable and awesome and I would give my right arm to have you as a friend IRL.

Hey, Mary, have you ever tired journalling your food intake? That seems to be the one tool that really helps me to keep from that kind of mindless snacking. I can't justify it if it's all written down and tallied up....and I am more conscious and able to avoid it. just an idea.

GOOD LUCK in your efforts....it'll be worthwhile to lose that habit!! Hugs,

Good for you for scheduling in your exercise at night. That's a time of day when it could be too easy to justify NOT doing it. I am a morning worker-outer, preferably, but need to get into the mindset and habit of just doing it whenever the schedule allows, even nighttime.

Good luck in keeping the habit....how's it going so far??

Great advice, G, especially "Have you considered working out in the morning? If you try when you have the most energy then it's one less excuse."

I've never thought of it like that before. I always love getting the exercise accomplished in the morning, when I am at my best.
