GOOD TGIFRIDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Oh, good golly - am I happy it's Friday or what?  I never even got in here yesterday.  I woke up with a killer headache which never left all day.  We had lots of rain, so my sinuses decided to stage a protest.  Then J had a major project due, so I stayed up with her all night while she worked on it.  She's in bed for a half hour nap before getting ready for school, and I'm headed to bed as soon as I get the chance to say good morning to my buddies.  I have class at noon -- in other words, I have to be standing in front of people making sense in less than 6 hours.  Oh my.

I'm going to catch up with the posts over the weekend.  I have the feeling I'm going to be taking a lovely nap this afternoon.  Have a fantastic Friday my friends.

Let's dance!!!

Morning Karen!

I sure as heck hope that you get a nice little sleep now and a big ol' nap later, too! And hopefully your sinuses are behaving properly today, too!

I'm very very very ready for a weekend! I'm run down and tired and I just want to get through a few hours of work today and then I'm coming home and relaxing all day. I did the grand majority of all the chores last night so today and most of the weekend I have no obligations (other than school work). And I got tons more healthy food to get us through another week and I feel really good about it!!

Alrighty, I'm go weigh in then off to work =)

I can't even believe how many last-minute projects are heaped on that poor girl (and her mother)!! I really hope you both got to sleep in good this morning and catch up on the lost zzzz's. How the heck does she function at school on no sleep?? BIG HUGS, my heart goes out to you both (is your headache gone?).

My Friday at work was....infuriating. Long story: This woman at work (we'll call her Dingbat), felt it necessary to blame ME in a meeting for a bunch of things keeping her from doing her job. She's a copyright officer (she makes EVERY process excrutiatingly tedious and drawn out)...she's not in any way, shape or form connected to me or my position except that we work with the same team of people, but she's gotten it in her head that she and I are supposed to have some sort of collaborative relationship. And that *I* have "dropped the ball" and neglected to send her vital information or schedule crucial meetings. This stuff is HER responsibility for HER to do HER job!! She has scheduled meetings on my behalf (without my prior knowledge), and is constantly telling me we need to sit down and meet about things (which we do not). She's NUTS. She accused me of misrepresenting her in the meeting minutes, yet when I emailed them out a week ago I asked for corrections of errors or omissions, which she did not send. All this in front of my superiors. I was vibrating by the end of her multiple tirades.

End result: my manager stood up for me and let her know where MY responsibilities lie (NOT where Dingbat was assuming they were). Passive-agressively, I forwarded all of the emails/attachments that she said I had neglected to send her but she had already been the recipient of - CC'd on every one of them (to HER superior as well).

Please, God, she seems miserable at this job and completely ineffective...let her find a NEW job SOON!!LOL

Anyway, there's so much more about my day but I'll save it for another thread. LOL
