GOOD TGIFRIDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Ta-dah!!  Here I am - fresh from my appearance in the justice system!  LOL  My appearance consisted of sitting in a room, sitting in a courtroom, being rejected by a lawyer, sitting in a room again, taking a lunch break, sitting in a room, and sitting in a room.  I did meet an interesting group of women to talk to, so it could have been worse.  At the end of the day, we were told that we'd completed our jury service for the week, so I'm free!  I think that calls for a dance!!

PhotobucketHappy Friday, Everybuddy!!  What are your plans for this weekend?  What decision can you make right now that could change this from a losing weekend to a L*O*S*I*N*G weekend?  My plan is to increase my activity level.  I want to move more, accomplish more, and feel that good kind of tired at the end of the day.

Have a happy, healthy Friday!  Listen for the music and move those feet!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Good morning buddies,

Today is Super Friday! After today Bruce is off work for a week...9 days to be exact. I am hoping that he will spend some time with the kids and I can get a little break, but we'll see. We are going to my Mom's for Thanksgiving, so that will be fun!

During that time we also plan on pulling up the carpet in the dining room and tiling the floor. I can't wait! I love projects and this one will make a huge difference...YAY!

TGIF buddies!

Good late-morning, lol.

I'm feeling kinda gross today cause I didn't wake up on time. Which meant no time for a shower, but hey, I made it too my classes! I need to do really well on my final for thermo, which means I need to find motivation to study and memorize all the equations. It's really hard when I'm balancing the other classes as well. I'm not really sure why, but I keep dropping the ball. I really just want to get it through my head, "YOU NEED TO STUDY ALL OF IT." :-P

On a bright note, I'm starting to bring scores up, a bit at a time. But I'm not sure if it's going to be enough. I'm not failing, but I need Ds to be Cs and Cs to be Bs... and we've given up on As this semester. Ugh. Once I get out of Gen eds, I think it will be better - if I learn this study thing. I really just need to find a place in the library and go. I think next semester will be better impart cause I won't be working till 5pm mondays, wednesdays, fridays. That really makes you want to not doing anything when you already went 8 to 5pm for one day.

Also on the bright note though, I'm NOT at 170 yet. LoL. I'm going to go to the gym either this weekend or monday. Not sure which.

Oh, and I've figured out I drink cold water much easier than any other type. Maybe I can finally keep up the drinking water thing too. lol

So much to do and ponder, so little time. Funny how it seems to go that way, aye?

Enjoy the Simple.

LOL at your jury experience! Glad you met some fun gals to make the time go by.

YES, HAPPY DANCING is in order!!!! This week has felt terribly drawn-out, and the fun can begin shortly. My entire weekend consists of eating out, ao I need to be consious of exactly what goes in my outh. I need to concentrate on the company moreso that the food. I have a church dinner tonight, and my old bible study group of ladies doesn't know I'm going to be there. SURPRISE! There's a really good speaker, too, so I'm totally excited.

Tomorrow afternoon is lunch with a dear friend. Supper is out with co-workers to a Korean restaurant I've never heard of in the city. Two of them used to live in Korea and rave about it...so, YUM!!

Sunday is another lunch. LOL

In between all of the food I need to exercise and study my brains out. 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks.

Have a splendiferous day, K!

Are you both feeling better now, Mary? I hope the cleaning/disinfecting goes really quickly. Christmas shopping is on my to-do list this weekend, too, although I haven't a clue what to get anyone. LOL

Congrats on kicking butt on the computer tests, Bennie! And congrats on the detox weight loss!!

I agree with allowing yourself little splurges now that the detox is over. I know you'll keep control. Have a blast!
