Hey buddies, hows everyone been?
Its been a long time since Ive been on here and I really miss you guys. Would it be possible for me to come back? Things have really changed in my life and I am ready to get "me" back on track. I seen that you are doing the holiday challenge again and I want to join in. I think its just what I need to get back on track.
Just to catch you guys up to whats been going on with me, I am still in school and will be graduating March 21, 2009. I am so excited! I recently took my senior test and of course, passed with flying colors. School has been a challenge but I have enjoyed it. I have learned a lot but I still have a lot to learn. Angel (dd) is now 10 years old and in the 4th grade. School hasnt gone so well for her this year so we have made the decision to home school her. Its something that we have always wanted to do but just never had the time or the resources to do so. Mike (dh) is doing well also. He is staying busy with work and we are trying to get some things paid off so we can do our dream home in the spring. Life is busy but I love it.
Well I hope everyone is well and I am looking forward to being back on the board. Take care buddies!

Hi Karen, I am so glad to be back. I have missed all of you dearly. It looks like the board is really busy these days. I am excited to meet all the new members.
School is going well but I am so ready to be done and out in the working field. So how has your family been? The girls doing good?
TAMMY! You're back!
First off, of course you can come back! Always you can!!
Second, I am SO SO SO PROUD of you!! I remember when you were struggling with the idea of going to school and whether or not you could tough it out!! And look at you now!! You're almost done!! Way to go, girl!!
Third, have you already started homeschooling her? How is that going? My sister is homeschooling her children and I really believe there are many circumstances that make that option the best idea! I'm glad to hear you guys found something that works for you!
And finally, I just wanted to say I'm glad you're back, I for one missed ya!
The girls are fine.

GRETAL! I'm back, yay!
I am so glad to be back here and I am so up to the new holiday challenge.
Thank you so much, I never thought that I would make it this far in school. I have had many hurdles to jump but I am sticking with it. I will be graduating in a few months and I think I already have a job lined up. So much has changed but my self confidence is still a work in progress. I know that I can do my job but sometimes I dont know if I can do it well. We will see I guess.
We havent started the home school yet but will be soon. I finally gave Angel's principle the letter stating that I was withdrawing her today. She will finish out this month but wont be going back after the 1st of the year. I am very excited to get started with it. I received her curriculum in the mail the other day and it looks very exciting. She has already started looking at the science book and loves it. How old are your sisters kids? Do they like home school?
I am so glad to be back. I have missed you very much as well. Take care and have a good night and good day tomorrow!
For the self-confidence thing, just remember how great of a job you've done throughout school - you will be able to do your job and do it WELL! And that's great you've already got one lined up! That's great news!
My sister's children are younger, the oldest one is six years old. Her and her DH had thought about it for a while before the oldest was to enter school and they started homeschooling from the get-go. I think it works out well for them. I'm uncertain how my sister is handling it right now (she's about 7 months pregnant with her fifth child) so I know she has her hands full. I think overall though for them it really works.
You're funny about the curriculum though, I know she's the same way - gets all excited when she gets them in the mail.
BTW, did you know there's a homeschooling board on iVillage?
Here ya go, I found it for you just in case: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/listsf.asp?webtag=iv-pphschooling&nav=start
Anyways, glad you're back - glad you're up for the challenge & jumping right back on board! =)
Welcome back Tammy!!!
Glad to hear that things are going well for you. :)
Fighting for 2 hours of "ME" time!!!!!
