GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

It's Loseday Tuesday!  Doesn't it seem like there should be a parade?  -Maybe something like Mardi Gras down in New Orleans?  Seriously, how much fun would that be?

Today I want to lose the idea that I'm too busy to cook.  We've been going for some higher calorie alternatives to homecooking, and it's not doing my diet any favors.  I want to sit down and plan some menus and maybe even get out to buy the groceries today.  What do you want to lose today?

Other than losing, I'll be glugging, guzzling, and hydrating.  I also have a final to give tonight, and then - let the grading begin!  What are your plans for the day, Buddies?

Have a lovely Loseday!

Morning!

Lets see....planning menus sound like a great idea..we need to do that more often. I have nothing planned for tonight...I can see us going out again. So....okay I dont think I really have anything to lose...but I was thinking last night...things have been going well at work so far. Im trying to be more confident in myself....but what I need to make sure of is that my confidence isnt me being hum...whats a good word...."full of it" big ego ....i think you get the idea lol. But yea....really what Im trying to do to myself is reach a level of confidence that when I go over my work and take my time and pay attention thats good. So I dont have to go through it five times and still worry that its wrong.

So....plans for today is to Drink Water, Walk at Lunch, Drink Water, Decorate, Drink Water, Clean while drinking,

Good morning buddies,

Today I am watching my friends daughter for a few hours for her...the kids are having a blast playing together. That gives Mommy more computer time too, woooo hooooo!

We'll have to run to the store later today as well. Aiden is down to 2 diapers (I have tons of pull-ups though, so not a huge issue) and I need to pick up a few more things for Aiden's birthday party on Saturday. I should do some laundry today as well.

That's about it for us.

We are buried in snow here and not expected to stop until late this afternoon.

I hear you on the meal planning. I'm terrible about planning ahead, and too often find myself at the grocery store trying to come up with something quick to make for dinner, or just letting my DH pick up something on the way home from work. It's one of the things I definitely have to work on.

As for today... Lots of water. I picked up my old habit of starting my day off with a couple tall glasses of water before I even think about breakfast (gets me hydrated and somehow has me feeling less hungry the rest of the day). A slimfast shake for breakfast (yummy! but it helps me keep away from other things I'd like to have instead). A light lunch. I have a nice vegetarian chili simmering right now, and dinner is yet to be determined. And of course, study, study, study for finals week next week.

The baby is sick with a cold and an ear infection. It's the second one in the space of a month. Or maybe the first one didn't quite go away. Right now he's resting and I hope that the new antibiotic will kick in soon. It tears at my heart to see my happy little boy miserable.

WOW! Good afternoon!!! My goodness the day has flown by! I would like to lose continual negative, self-doubt thinking that plagues me daily.

Good afternoon, Karen!! I, too use the "too busy to cook" excuse alot, but it is wrong-minded thinking. Throwing together a salad, some veg, a grain, and lean meat really takes no extra time. It's all in the way we say it to ourselves, isn't it? I wish you luck in getting into that healthier habit.

What am I going to lose today?? The need to go to a management accounting class!!!!!!!! I am leaving for my final exam in about an hour, and can NOT wait for this day to be over (offical exam end time is 8:15pm, MST LOL). I am so nervous (it is a 50%-weighted cumulative exam...YIIKES!!). If I could get some vibes and prayers I'd really appreciate them all. ;o)

And then I have only 1 final left on the 20th. THEN a 2 week break from school AND work......The happy dancing will commence promptly at 4pm on Dec. 23rd. LOL

Hope you're all enjoying a successful day (get some exercise, no excuses!!), hugs,

Oh, we are in the midst of a blizzard: icy roads, blowing snow, tons coming down. Nothing is cancelled up here in Canada until it reaches -40F and snow plows aren't working. LOL

Thanks for the good luck, I am heading in there shortly!
