Not really new...

Some of you may remember me...I'm Andais. (Remember it's pronounced And-eye-as...LOL!) I used to belong to this board months ago. However, with work and school I just couldn't continue. There have been many changes in the past few months. The biggest is that I quit work to focus entirely on school. Secondly, I graduated from community college this summer and now I am at UCF here in Florida. I also changed majors, I am a Criminal Justice major. I've lost about 40 pounds since leaving the board but my weight loss had stalled. I joined the YMCA and had been going occasionally. However, I was talking to one of my professors and he asked how I planned to be a field agent if I could barely walk up the stairs without getting winded (he's a really great guy and he was being helpful) and it made me want to be more fit. So I decided to dedicate 6 days a week 1/2 hour a day to start. I work out on a machine that is a cross between an elliptical machine and a stair climber. It's a hard workout but I really like it. My mini goal is to lose 46 pounds by spring break and my main goal is to lose between 96-106 pounds by my 27th birthday on December 11th. I also want to up my workouts to 1 hour a day but that will take time. I hope to be up to 45 minutes by spring break and 60 minutes by mid summer. This week my day off will be Christmas Day because the YMCA is closed but otherwise I am there.  Any way that's me and I am back and ready to lose.  Hugs to all.

Hey Andais! Of course we remember you! =) I'm glad to see you're back and you've done so well while you were gone! Congrats!!

Sounds like things are going well, so I'm happy to hear all of that! Are you living in Orlando now or do you commute to school? Oh and how is Nikolas doing?

I'm glad you've found you're way back here! I hope you have some time to visit us often =)

I commute. The frustrating part about next semester is that I only have one class at the Orlando campus. I've decided that after class I'll hike (literally) to the library and do homework. I also have a class on the Brevard campus which is the county I live in. However, I am in the middle to north part of the county and this class is to the extreme south...so once again I'll be doing homework on campus. I also have two online classes. Nikolas is doing well he is in first grade and also in the gifted program. I'm really proud of him. He's an amazing artist. I am so glad to see you're still on the board..what's new?

Oh wow, just one class there. Is it at least just once a week or are you gonna have to trek that far a few times a week for that class? That stinks if it's just once.

Well, one good thing about being far away is that it might really push ya to get your work done quickly at school instead of bringing it home. (I'm trying to look for a positive ;)...)

Oh, and yay for Nikolas!

Things here are probably the same as when you left- haha! Although I don't exactly remember when you left ;) I'm still in school, working, feeling rushed and drained all the time. Only one more semester to go and I'm a free woman, though! Woot!

Again, I'm glad you're back =)

It's twice a week to Orlando, once a week to Palmbay. I guess it will motivate me to do all my homework at school. You are lucky to only have one more semester, I have four counting summer terms.

Welcome back, Andais!!! Sounds like you have done a LOT to simplify things and further yourself along, both healthwise and schoolwise. AWESOME, that makes me so happy!!
