Some of you may remember me...I'm Andais. (Remember it's pronounced And-eye-as...LOL!) I used to belong to this board months ago. However, with work and school I just couldn't continue. There have been many changes in the past few months. The biggest is that I quit work to focus entirely on school. Secondly, I graduated from community college this summer and now I am at UCF here in Florida. I also changed majors, I am a Criminal Justice major. I've lost about 40 pounds since leaving the board but my weight loss had stalled. I joined the YMCA and had been going occasionally. However, I was talking to one of my professors and he asked how I planned to be a field agent if I could barely walk up the stairs without getting winded (he's a really great guy and he was being helpful) and it made me want to be more fit. So I decided to dedicate 6 days a week 1/2 hour a day to start. I work out on a machine that is a cross between an elliptical machine and a stair climber. It's a hard workout but I really like it. My mini goal is to lose 46 pounds by spring break and my main goal is to lose between 96-106 pounds by my 27th birthday on December 11th. I also want to up my workouts to 1 hour a day but that will take time. I hope to be up to 45 minutes by spring break and 60 minutes by mid summer. This week my day off will be Christmas Day because the YMCA is closed but otherwise I am there. Any way that's me and I am back and ready to lose. Hugs to all.

Yeah, changing majors is definitely a pain. In undergrad I did the same thing and felt like I was playing catch-up, too. Not a fun thing to have to deal with. But in the end, it's far better to change NOW and come out with the degree you want then end up with a degree you have no desire to use and need to go back!
I'm so happy to be almost done!!! It has not been easy and I'm ready to just start a job already...well only a job I mean ;) I'm so sick of school! HAHA!
