I figured I'd be late in posting here but I guess people are off and busy with the holiday only a day and a half away.
Today I did a weight class with the hopes I burned off a few extra calories and toned up some muscles.
Yesterday our department head brought in pizza for everyone to thank for for their hard work through-out the year and on this current horrible project. Today she's doing it again but instead it is pasta and some other Italian dishes along with salads. As usual I brought in my own lunch yesterday but simply saved it for today. Well, today I'll bring it home for dinner.
So, what do you want to lose today? Hmmm, I'll work on losing my urge to splurge with all the extra goodies around the office and goodies I will be offered over the next few days. I'm going to try and make some more scones tomorrow afternoon to bring on Christmas day with me to my cousin's hour for breakfat the next day (we're spending the night).
I noticed I had a typo in my last sentence and decided to leave it. I think it's funny. I typed breakfat instead of breakfast. Hmmm, could that be a subtle hint that my scones are fatty (which they are with 3 sticks of butter in the recipe)?

! ! ! ! Happy Holidays ! ! ! !

I like the typo. Maybe it was a hint =)
I have been trying to be as good as possible...and with making the new decade today, I must be doing something right =) Todd wanted chocolate chip cookies - he's been bugging me for weeks actually that he wants "his" cookies. So I was baking again last night. I doubled the recipe, but I froze half of the cookies, so he can have a portioned amount later on. I only tasted about a quarter of one while warm and then another quarter of one with lunch. I also brought a ton of cookies to work yesterday and didn't eat one.
Anyways, today I've been shopping all morning, but the rest of the day will be cleaning and straightening up because tomorrow I lounge =) HAHA!
I think in the spirit of loseday, I will continue last week's thought and lose that mental block that I can't weigh less than what I weigh. Because I CAN!! It will take work and time, but it's not impossible!
And good luck Bennie on losing the urge to splurge =) Those "badies" are tempting, but they'll only hurt your feelings ;)
Good afternoon, Buddies!!
K and I had doctor's appointments this morning, and they took longer than expected, so I'm just now getting to the puter.

As I figured, most people are taking days off and finishing up running errands, etc.
