Happy Sunday, Buddies!

Good morning! I was up way too early (5am) and am now almost ready for sleep again (it's 6am almost). LOL Hopefully it's going to be a LONG day, as the last one of my vacation. Back to the grind tomorrow.

BUT, on an up-note, I have been super on-track with eating. And it will do me a world of good to get back into a day-to-day routine, so I foresee a lot more losing in my future. The only thing I need to REALLY buckle down about is exercise. After my nap this morning I will do a dvd or get on the treadmill, PROMISE!! LOL

How is everyone else feeling about their recent efforts? What kind of success do you see in YOUR future??

Hope you all have a lovely (WARM) day, hugs,

Good morning Roni! My dad got up with Nik this morning and they let me sleep until 8:30! I am so refreshed. I remember in highschool sleeping until 12 or 2 pm but I haven't done that in ages. Now sleeping until 8 is a big deal. I am so sore this morning from the weights I used yesterday, my whole body hurts. I keep asking myself why I let my mom talk me into this, however, I know as I do the weights things will get better. So tomorrow I will be weight lifting again. Today will be 30 minutes on the elliptical machine. I want to do 15 minutes on the stair climber but I know I just can't today. I am just so sore. I will be happy with my 30 minutes today, if I can get that accomplished I will be thrilled.

Oh I would willingly switch places with you. I can't wait for my kid to either be a.) self sufficient enough to get up alone or b.) willing to sleep all day on the week end.

Good for you getting some rest Karen. It is so important that we take care of ourselves first. Good to know that you are doing that. Hugs.

I was thinking at first I couldn't relate to being trapped in the house by ice because I live in Florida. However, I can relate to being trapped in the house because of weather. During Tropical Storm Faye all of our streets flooded and we were all trapped in the house or at work for several days while the storm pounded us. I had to work two of those days and my routes to work (I worked for a hospital as a phlebotomist, we were the Outreach team and we had to drive around to nursing homes) began to disapear. Pretty soon, I couldn't get to the bridge to get to work and so even though I was essential personnel I was benched because I simply couldn't get out of the house with out a boat. I was trapped in the house with a 6 year old and two 50 year olds...we watched the Olympics and tried not to annoy each other. LOL! Just thought I would share so you wouldn't feel alone. Hugs.
